Eternals get crushed.

For some unknown reason, beings with MILLIONS of years to perfect their powers granted to them by Space Gods are helpless before beings who are only a few thousand years old.

Except Dolphins aren't intelligent beings capable of thought and building and maintaining a futuristic city hidden from the rest of the planet. Dolphins aren't literally immortal and never age a day after hitting a certain age. Dolphins don't have the luxury of never having to not scavenge for food and avoid predators. An individual dolphin doesn't have an infinite lifespan to hone it's abilities and powers and a million year head start to one up humanity.

So your analogy fails epically.
