There really no reason to assume omega red can't tank a punch from thor. Take a bunch likely not, one or two? in my opinion, he most likely can.

In that Stark miniseries set in the past?

Oh, he can take a punch from an everyday/regular Thor. He can take a few. Heck, Spider-Man could. Thor enjoys fighting at the level of his opponents. I however don't think this is a regular situation. And if Thor get's pissed, they get broken:

his flight control at FTL speeds is impeccable? based on what?

also, what speed are you assuming he will fly at? you do realize how fast gorgon is, right?

I still can't get over how they depicted him effortlessly crushing poor Ben in First Thunder.

Based on Mjolnir and Thor's control over it.

He can fly as sub/supersonic speeds here and still be a beast.

Besides, if Thor flies full speed with Mjolnir into the arena...I trust you realize what kind of reverb that would make?

yes, not fast enough to fluster gorgon.

thor can fly fast in space...in an enclosed adamantium space, flying at his max speed is essentially suicide.

Thor is incredibly maneuverable in flight:

supersonic speeds won't mean shit against gorgon. he can avoid bullets, you think he's gonna have trouble avoiding a speeding large target?

lulz. yes the reverb will be great. and thor would be KOed from the impact if he decides to fly fullspeed into adamantium.

They're different levels of supersonic speed, you know...

And if it KOs Thor (debatable)...what would it do to them?

And yeah, there's this: http://s388.photobucket.com/albums/...07Avengers5.jpg

Since apparently flight isn't banned, Thor stomps and this thread should be closed.

Fast enough to get hit by Wolverine, Phobos and AM's kid.

None of which are faster than Thor can fly.

Nah. Leave this open until like Sunday please.

Edit: Nevermind. You can close this. It's not the appropriate thread anyways.

so, what the admantium wall is gonna buckle now from thor?

no its not. its not weak like galactus.

thor will smash into it at full force and break every bone in his body imo.

Or he flies into Gorgon and breaks every bone in his(Gorgon's) body.

Did I say that? Of course not.

Weak like Galactus, lol. That did make me laugh.

And if that happens, what happens to them?

Regardless, I'm pretty that now flight has been revealed to be allowed, this is pretty much spite or at least a massive edge to Thor. Not that it wasn't already.

True, but Phobos is also VERY fast in his own right as well as having pre-cog abilities of his own. Early on in secret warriors he said that he had to stop playoins some types of video games because he could tell what was going to happen before it did. then he was doing it again during the end of his time there as well.

True, but that leaves out the notion that a pissed off Thor had to be pushed into using powers that were outside the scope of h2h.
I would argue the author's intent was to show Wolverine's speed and offensive abilities were too much for Thor in h2h... which would seem to be the indication of the write up, the promos and the comic itself.

With all his abilities sure, in a h2h.... if you honestly believe that, well.... that's why we're here.

I interpretted it as Wolverine tried to jump/flip over Thor's blows or something and got caught in mid flight. His foot looks like it's off the ground when it's snatched... but that's only my subjective interpretation.
