Just came across this...stuff I certainly did not know.

The last two were sorta known, and the first was sort of known. But only for the people that read up on it. Marco Polo got a codex from Kublai Khan and gave it to fellow assassin Dante Alighieri, whoes studant was the Venetian Domenico. Some time after the death of his wife and Dante, Domenico and his son changed their name to Auditore and purchased the villa in Monteriggioni.
How they all look the same, get the same scar and with the same bloodline is anyones guess.

That first one was surprising, since the info that exists so far about the AC universe always pointed to Ezio being a descendent of Altair. Plus if they aren't related...there's really no good reason I can think of for Ezio to be seeing visions of Altair.
That's because those seals do not follow the same restrictions as the Animus.

Assuming that Ezio was Altair's ancestor, they still would not function like the Animus, as I think Amancio has stated that we would be getting to play Altair long after Desmond's next descendant was born. This would not be possible if Ezio were accessing genetically recorded memories.
Yeah, I was kind of referring to only the first bit. The only clue in previous games that Altair was not an ancestor of Ezio, was that there was no manner in which it was stated or implied that 16 was descended from Altair.
As for the Codex, Altair gave it to Marco's father, who lost it to the Mongols.
Also, it was Domenico's father, not Domenico himself, who was Dante's apprentice. So yeah, there was still enough time for Altair's progeny to give rise to Ezio's great-grandfathers.

Are you referring to the date of that interview, or are you referring to the errors I made in my post (calling Ezio Altair's ancestor instead of the other way around, and using 'descendant' instead of 'ancestor' next to Desmond's name?) Yeah, bite me.
Anyway, if Amancio really did reveal that we get to play as an old Altair, then those seals do not play out the genetic memories of a user.

Amancio stated the 'play as old Altair' bit long before that interview with McDevitt. My point was that based on what Amancio stated & with our assumptions that Ezio was a descendant of Altair, we could deduce that the Seals do not function like the Animus.
Do you need a transcription then, of just that bit?
Likely only accessible to those with Eagle Sense. Seeing as Ezio accessed them in the past, I wonder if he had to play through those segments of Altair's life.

Tempted to get it for the Flying Machine, since the Ezio statue looks like utter crap and isn't even Revelations Ezio, like the one in the Templar Collector's Edition.. Still, $40 extra just for two figurines is stoopid.

...yeah, I think I'm just going to stick with the regular game if that's the CE they're giving us. If the figure looked better I'd go for it, but that doesn't appear to be worth it.
Hey, Altair displaying at-least marginal infelction. There's an improvement if I ever saw one. Hopefully he comes off seeming like less of a tool in later periods of his missions. Anyway, I'm glad how these games seem to look better graphically with each installment.
My verdict: Deathmatch >>> Wanted. Easy Deathmatch has no abilities, so that's even better.

Deathmatch was better than expected, would put it on par with wanted though. And the 'capture the flag' mode whose name alludes me was fun at times but like with Manhunt it can be frustrating when each teammate wants to do their own thing. Had to hover by our flag like an npc, lay tripwire, attack the opposition, chase if needed and get back before another took the flag. All the while the three others ran around wither trying/failing to find opposition running around the map or trying/failing to to get a flag. *sigh* wouldn't be annoyed but when I decided to leave 'defense mode' I went up and took a flag in one try.. the hell were they doing all that time? :/
They will be releasing a copy of AC with ACR for first day buyers.

I like it moreso than I do Wanted, due to the smaller area, and the indicator being more like the compass in Advanced Wanted, barring the directional hints. I'm pretty sure there are no copies of your target unless said target uses an ability like Morph or Blender. Shit can get pretty frantic, especially if one is playing Easy Deathmatch, which excludes all abilities.
I did not like Artefact Assault, mostly because I would end up on a team with people who never knew what the f*** they supposed to do.
Only for PS3 Customers I believe. I like this.
Favourite character BR?

Do the large Wanted maps bug you too? Really have to pick the right characters in Deathmatch. The Sentinel's white or Vanguard's green really stands out from the rest of the cast, makes them quite useless without abilities. The higher paced action for the mode is a huge plus O: Glitch: Sometimes when entering Easy Deathmatch with Blender already set, for a few matches it still works.
Guess communication is necessary for those matches, 'sides that I do like these team modes.
The AC team seem to love the PS3 users, especially ones in Europe
Only the Sentinel for looking like as Assassin :/ The guys look too meh and the girls look meh and angry >-> their blandness only works for Deathmatch. The Turkish group don't hold a candle to the Italian ones.. What about yours?
