It's not. You just disagree with me. No need to throw hurtful insults around

I disagree with your tactic of ignoring context in order to make your favorite character look better....IE quanning.

He did need to. The proof is in the writer's intent and the character's dialog. He didn't tank them as they hurt him. He took them yes but if it was easy to take them he would have just done so. He didn't. He chose to avoid them.

I disagree

But not enough to cause any serious injury, unlike Drago.

The writer is Stallone and he obviously intended for Drago to be Rocky's strongest opponent. Stop pulling things out of your ass. If Sly wanted Clubber to be that impressive he wouldn't have had Rocky steamroll him in their rematch.

It's not a matter of opinion, you're simply wrong.

I'm not. Context is him needing to block and dodge Lang but not Drago. Context is him needing to utilize a completely different fighting style for Lang but using his go to tactic against Drago. These are facts

He also didn't let Clubber pound on him like he did with Drago

I know who the writer is. So him blocking Lang and not Drago is out of my ass now? Screen feats speak louder than you trying to deny they happened

Screen feats say differently

You're acting like he dodged or blocked every single hit when that's not the case. Not at all. There were 50+ clean hits in the rematch.

The clear implication was that Drago was the strongest. That's why they had him kill Creed in 2 rounds, that's why we had all those scenes with weights, the PSI, the steroids. Stallone obviously wanted Drago to be the baddest mofo Rocky ever faced.

No, he did not. Rocky movies have always had unrealistic choreography. He did not "need" to avoid Lang as evidenced by all the clean shots he took from him. Rocky simply chose a different style for that match.

Totally and completely false... It's was made CRYSTAL clear by the DOCTOR that it was YEARS of damage.. this was FURTHER reinforced when he see flashbacks to illustrate the damage rocky has taken and it shows ALL his fights.. Stop saying Drago caused this.. I already proved this false. Drago contributed to it.. nothing more.

In my case, I'm not saying Drago caused it, but he definitely contributed a lot more than Clubber did.

No I know he didn't block them all. You make it seem like Rocky still doesn't have superhuman durability. He does. Still it's clear he needed to do something else as he could not wade thru the hits and wait for an opening like he did with Drago

He was the baddest. Just not the hardest hitting

It's something that appears to be clear only to you. And you're basing the whole thing on the choreography. The fact that Rocky tanked Lang's shots proves he didn't need to dodge or block, but simply chose to. And lets also not forget that Rocky was in much better shape and even more motivated when facing Drago.

He is the hardest hitting according to screen feats. When Lang KILLS a man in 2 rounds or hits for over 2000 PSI then we can argue.

It clear you just want to ignore it. He did need to as the shots he did take put him down and he clearly felt he couldn't just wade thru them

Creed is no Rocky when it comes to durability. Lang would have laid waste to him. HE never got the opportunity to show his punching power on a machine so that point is nil
