OMAC continues to surprise me every month. Definitely one of the best books on the market. I love all the crazy concepts they are creating. Cadmus, Checkmate, etc...
Ambient Tech : Free floating ions and particles transformed with a thought into machinery and weaponry.
Same with Mr. Terrific, Stormwatch, and Frankenstein. All have high concepts. That's why I love DC.

Wow.
Also, anyone playing the DC MMO that's now free to play (on PC), let me know and we can team up maybe.

I'll check out the DCUO game; I purchased it when it first came out, but my PC needs a new graphic card for optimal play.

i play it at the low - mid range and get decent framerate without lag.
i already made one character, just havent decided what im going to do with my second one.
maybe ill end up using the cash shop to buy the lantern set.

My original character was this Sorcery guy who visually was something like Dr. Fate meets Mr. Majestic.

Nice. I basically made a version of Aquaman after getting kind of lost when i realised that you couldn't choose super strength as a power. unless thats gated and can be accessed by subbers.

Iirc, you can pick Super Strength as an Iconic Power, which enables you to pick up heavy objects and the like.
They made it so, while you can't start off doing so, you can effectively have a brick/Kryptonian power set.

Oh okay; I'd been wondering that. I'm working on an Aquaman build atm. Balance between physical toughness and mental abilities.
I may use my second character for the brick then.
I can see myself, while not paying a monthly subscription, using the cash shop during F2P. I just wish i could access it outside of the game itself.

Blackhawks FTW!
BTW, the funny thing is, Marvel produces way more books. DC has 52, but they're pretty much all fun to read for the exception of a few. Shows you what happens when your overall production are good reads vs gimmicks.
Can't wait for the 2nd and 3rd waves. DC should be dominating for a long time.

A few? More like 40-60 or 50-50 bad-to-good ratio depending who you believe. This is still more than the average in Marvel though.

Well, the ones I REALLY don't like are Green Arrow, Batman The Dark Knight, and Detective is on the fence. I'm pretty much enjoying all the others, even though they aren't perfect.

I've been enjoying Dark Knight, personally. I don't think Finch's style is for everyone though.

The only reason I'm reading DK is because of White Rabbit. She's hot!
Seriously, she seems kind of interesting. She's damn fast, that's for sure.

Well yes, there is that.
True. One thing I was wondering though: Hulking out bad guys... Arkham Asylum not ringing any bells for anyone? The game, not the comic.

Okay... I JUST read this entire 94 page thread!
So, of all the titles, which titles would you recommend above all?
So far I like Aquaman the most. I would have picked up Action but both 1 and 2 were sold out...

My personal top five so far is: Action Comics, Justice League, Aquaman, Catwoman, and probably Nightwing.

I've never been a huge Batman fan. How do they fair with still having most of their continuity in tact?
