Okay This statement doesn't make sense.Cause if Odin couldn't stand on his own power, he wouldn't be able to summon the Destroyer and Mjolnir to its hand.So he still had power to fight Galactus.Cause I understand the phrase "Odin couldn't stand on his own power" would ment he was incapacitated or KO.But that wasn't the case in issue 6.
This I agree. It was crud.Hence I say nothing was resolved in this Odin Vs Galactus debate since the story arc didn't help me decide who to vote for in this thread.Matt Fraction suckered us into believing a big Destroyer / Mjolnir Vs Galactus fight when nothing happened in issue 6.
@igniz after leaving the armor he could barely stand.
I'm saying that summoning the armor was like a last ditch effort for him.
He asked Thor for help to stand and Thor refused.

Phoenix is a force, not an entity, and Eternity and Death were born from the remnants of the previous abstracts, but they still count as new entities..
And besides, Captain Marvel killed that Eternity, and set Entropy to take his place by killing him too, detonating him and birthing the universe all over again..
Needless to say, meeting Fraction was completely unimpressive. I refused to wait in a line that was arbitrarily cut off, so I just approached him as he stepped down from the podium. I didn't have much time as a result.
Me: Can you clarify the Galactus-Odin encounter
Fraction: it is what it is. at the end of the day, Galactus is the guy that's left standing
Me: What about the destroyer armor confrontation, what was happening there
Fraction: Well, Surfer tells him the Seed is gone. And the Destroyer armor is standing there with Mjolnir. And it's like a standoff
Me: so if it's a standoff then why does Galactus leave?
Fraction: He leaves because the destroyer is there. He leaves because the Seed is gone and he no longer wants to bother with Asgard. It's a little of column A and it's a little of column b. It's whatever you want it to be
(obviously I never said I was a fan of Galactus in the hopes that he'd give me a straight answer. Nope.)
Me: So what was the point of the actual Galactus Seed? Is it going to appear later?
Fraction: It was a way for Odin to possibly find a solution to Fear Itself, but it's not significant in that way; it was something for Odin to latch his hopes onto for the duration of the story. The Seed is now gone, so that's the end of that chapter. We might see the Seed again at some point.
So by this point Fraction was already off the podium and being escorted away by his cronies. i was following him a little asking the questions. Then I just got fed up with the whole thing and walked away.
The whole endeavor was just lackluster, like his story. I didn't even have time to tell him the story sucked. It was either that or try and get my questions answered.

That was horribly answered by Fraction; its whatever you want it to be!???
Really??
If he is representative (and I pray he is not) of how the writers of comicbooks think, then we really are wasting our time with our endless debates of character "a" vs character "b"...
Yeah, it sucked, but I think it's just him. I spoke with abnett and lanning and they have a pretty good view of what they're trying to get across. I spoke with kieron gillen and he def has a head on his shoulders. fraction was just a mess.
it was basically his statement regarding thor/hulk re-hashed. Trying to please all parties with a non-answer.

With twitter, fb, and the various message boards most writers are too pc nowadays and don't want to alienate fanbases. At least he admits Gaalctus is the last man standing but it was horribly written a typical lackluster fight wit very little action.
