Macbeth from Gargoyles was a truly interesting and original take on Bill Shakespeare's classic version (the City of Stone saga STILL holds up extremely well.)
I would love to see Marvel redo the Gargoyles franchise with today's artwork.

EVERYONE owned Goliath. The power house from The Pack was knocking him around with body blocks before his enhancements. Three or four normal humans hanging off of him actually made him stumble and just about drop to one knee.
The "Born of a woman" thing either isn't in effect or doesn't exist in the Gargoyle-verse though, seeing he's born of a woman.
And besides, how do we know Bruce wasn't born of a c-section? That technicality is how literary Macbeth died, and in modern times c-secion is pretty common.. And regardless, the "born of a woman" thing could be read less as a restriction on who could kill him, and as a prophecy on who will do it.
Xanatos [SPOILER - highlight to read]: being so low on the illuminati totem pole is a little surreal, given he's one of Gargoyles movers and shakers. And Thailog's a member! And the exact same rank as Xanatos.
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: I think it's because Xanatos is only willing to put limited effort into the conspiracy itself. He helps out, but he's more an associate member with his own power base.
This. There's nothing magic about MacBeth, it was a prophecy. If bruce had been around, the prophecy probably would have been "none shall harm macbeth, except for this psycho in a bat costume".
I see people applying that stupid logic to the witch king from LotR as well. It just doesn't hold water.
