Chaos King vs. Thanos

Instead of using a plot device like Hercules/Cho did to defeat Chaos King, can Thanos use the powers Hercules gain in the series to win?

Because Thanos isn't an idiot like Herc? cool

It would be close but I think Thanos could pull it off somehow. Keep in mind, CK wasn't defeated by brute power, but by outsmarting him. So Thanos' intellect + SuperGod Herc power makes me think he can pull the majority wins.
