King Thor in an epic stomp. REGULAR Thor held his own vs Mephisto in his realm and Mephisto admitted it would be an eternal stalemate if they kept fighting.

Could he win? Possibly. In a stomp? Nonsense.

Those scans just show Thor saying he'd fight for eternity. Mephisto said nothing of the sort.

Dude check the last scan, Mephisto even says it must end in a stalemate because he doesn't want to continue (and this is in his realm). Imagine what King Thor would do to him?

Thor would probably win outside of his realm. Inside he wins fairly easy.

But zopzop that was either PIS or an outright lie by Mephisto...
Mephisto (during Secret Wars 2) once multiplied The Things strength 100 fold; if Mephisto applied this same amp to his own strength, Thor has no prayer of beating him...
Just because a character (especially the Lord of Lies) says something, doesnt make it true...

He had nothing to gain by lying and everything to lose (those souls he captured on Earth). So unlike other times when there is something deeper to his machinations, nothing of the sort was shown here. Thor stalemated him in his own hell by his own admission.

So you agree it was PIS then...
If Mephisto unloads on Thor as he did against Galactus, does Thor still stalemate him?

Why is it PIS? If every time something happens and we don't like the outcome we can't just say it's PIS. I could very well say that the Galactus fight was PIS. Mephisto isn't in his league.

But answer the question...
If Mephisto unloads on Thor as he did Galactus, does Thor still stalemate him?
The answer is no...and you know it...thus it makes Mephisto "admitting" that Thor would stalemate him PIS.

If the Galactus fight was PIS, then no, Mephisto wasn't lying about the stalemate.
If the Thor fight was PIS, then yes, Mephisto was lying.
To settle this, when has Mephisto fought another being in Galactus' power range? What was the outcome?

@zopzop
Who are you referring to? Satannish?
If so, Satannish is alot more powerful than Thor...

Proof? Because you can't use Strange as a measure of power. Look how he struggled with Loki.

Argh...
Once again, the inconsistencies make these debates futile...
