Can Joeb take out Superman?

Is there a comic book version of Lawnmower man?

I don`t see Joeb from the movie taking it. His TP, TK and possible warping/illusions/pytokinetics were potent but not that impressive.

Not sure if there is a comic version.

Also, I am not sure if any of that stuff he did in the movie would work on Superman.

Could he disperse Superman's molecules like he did in the movie?

I doubt it would work, at least not quickly enough. Supes should be at least somewhat resistant to that kind of attack. Even the guy in the movie was not fully dispersed, as he walked around as a cloud of bubbles it actually looked like he was trying to pull himself together (unsuccessfully).
