His timeline was already attempted at being mucked with he came back just fine. This didn't work and Bendis screwed with his origins as the void to predating the serum. His origins are so tampered with and so speculative no one can really say at this point imo.

I don't think anybody knows who Sentry truly is in the Marvel Universe.
It was only announced late in his short career that he was a junky.

Flash won't be able to go back in time and change the history of someone who already altered his past drastically previously.
