Ah okay, was beginning to lose a lot of respect for the writers for that one, thanks for clearing it up. (remembering it now, Tate and Violet went to the beach on Halloween, where they were confronted by the kids he shot.)
Apparently there are only 2 episodes left, bit disappointing that really.

One of the two for sure. Because she's pulling abilities out of her ass that even Cordelia is completely blown away by. Abilities the other witches have never even heard of.

[SPOILER - highlight to read]:
Evidently the huge majority of politicians, high-ranking military officials, billionaires, titans of industry, etc. in the world gained their wealth/power by selling their souls to Satan via Black Mass rituals -- as such, they are devout Satanists and have been eagerly awaiting the coming of the Antichrist. Now that Michael has been introduced to them, it makes sense how he was able to found(and lead) 'The Cooperative', and ultimately gain the means to send nukes flying/cause Armageddon.
Only 2 episodes left now, which is a damn shame.

Time travel is ok with me considering all of the other things we see on the show. As long as they keep it minimal with only one character able to do it. I'm thinking Mallory dies saving the world and restoring the timeline.

Yeah, one more episode would have been perfect, but the ending was handled well all things considered. Michael was ludicrously powerful.
Interesting twist to have the antichrist cycle begin anew(except the devil worshipers got to the child much, much sooner this time.) Also explains why those 'genetically superior' teens were collected just before the bombs struck.
All in all, this was easily my favorite season of AHS.

I don't think there was much of a difference age wise. The new kid was 4 years old and Michael was about the same age when the Black Church showed up at Murder House.
To me that don't make sense unless the Devil knew his attempt was going to be thwarted. Michael was already the Antichrist when they collected them.
