And christ, which nerd in any of us would kill a granny to see our childhood fantasies revelled on the big screen?

I haven't even seen the last Transformers movie, and I've only seen part of the second one.

EXACTLY!

For me, not so much. "Camera" was far too close most of the time. It needed to zoom-out a bit. I understand del Toro was trying to convey a sense of immensity and size with the stupid close-ups but it actually didn't work for me and obscured what was actually happening.

Additionally, things happened too often at night...making stuff too dark.

What I'm saying is: the visuals were...made poopy by crappy directing and cinematography.

It was even worse because I toned down the contempt for that aspect of the film in my post.

Remember when people said the Transformer fights looked like wads of metal? Yeah, it was much worse in PR.

Acting: Horrible.

Dialogue: Horrible.

Visual FX: From Horrible to supreme.

Plot: Atrocious.

3D: Poor.

Flora and Fauna: Awesome.

Originality: 0 out of 10.

Humor: Decent.

Overall, quite a shite film. But it was still enjoyable. Mindless fun? Does that sound better? Like...the plot and dialogue are so dumb at times that it almost makes the film horrible. But it is still dumb, fun, ride.

Also horrible VFX? I'm sorry but I don't think so. I have worked with special effects, I know good effects when I see them.

Every single person on film. Everyone. Even the extras in the background.

This was a good movie, but it suffered from over dramatic acting and some cheesy moments. What bothered me was Pentecost was running the show with no oversight from anyone. Sure they got government funding from the Russian, but it seemed like Pentecost called all the shots. Would've been nice to see some oversight by those backing him. Also, I felt they could have developed the Chinese and Russian teams better. The Alpha Cherno and Crimson Typhoon got beat too easily. There were a lot of plot holes in this movie, but I still loved it. At least somebody had the balls to do something like this. I hope this does well and gets a sequel with better script/story.

Um okay... confused

I'm sorry but clearly you have not watched Sons of Anarchy if you think Charlie Hunnam was horrible in it.

Even if you haven't, I don't see how can think he was weak in the movie. I thought he portrayed his character well.
