Can't you see the point I'm making?
There's been no other movie in recent times that has left so many questions unanswered. Everyone's making ridiculous justifications to every plot hole in the story.

How is this a response to: people would still b*tch and moan if he would've done any of the things you mentioned during the day just to pass the time till nightfall?

I would've liked it if that somehow would've fit scheduling-wise. Then again, I hardly b*tch and moan at why shit didn't happen in a movie due to the director's decision. It's the overall enjoyment of the movie. If it entertained and didn't bore me, then the film's usually pretty alright in my book.

Nope and nope.

Bruce parks the Bat in the Batcave, which as we all know is under Wayne Manor. Wayne Manor however is not on the island (it logically can't be and Dent ask in TDK if it's in Gotham's jurisdiction) allowing him to get in the Bat and fly over to Gotham City in the Bat at which point he parked it on top of the building.

You forget, you kinda have to pay to see the movie first, before walking away & forming an opinion of whether you liked it or not...so sales doesn't reflect on whether it's a well written story to begin with.
Take Avatar for example. Highest grossing film to date...pretty visuals that gave its popularity but still a mediocre plot.

I'm glad you've enjoyed this movie so much you've sat through it 4 times but for me, personally once is enough. I don't think I'll even bother seeing it on dvd again. As per, Batman Begins it's always a pleasure to watch.

i knew you'd say that.. you see I factored that in, people are seeing this all over the world more than once, if they weren't then it wouldn;t be making what it has made so far.

Well yeah, Batman is human after all. He does need to eat, sleep, heal, play the Bruce persona...so it's not that he's bored, patiently waiting for nightfall.

Hell yeah, this movie really got under my skin. I waited patiently for 4 years for it. Everyone in real life knows I'm a religious Bat fan.

Oh c'mon! You dismissed Burton & Schumacher as inferior to Nolan then you bring Adam West into the factor?

Hell, why not make reference to Batman's cameo in Scooby Doo!

you whine about Nolan having Batman fight during the day yet you dodge my question about Adam West since his Batman fought a whole lot during the day..

they are inferior to Nolan as Nolan made Batman something a whole lot better than they.. also please talk about at least one plothole from the Batman Anthology???

you see i am a huge batman fan, have been since i was 4 however unlike you i don't care about plotholes and other stupidness

Next you're gonna be comparing the 1952 black & white tv series & George Reeve to Synder's upcoming Superman.

The Adam West 1960's series was pure camp & cheesy aimed for the kids, not once ever mentioning the death of his parents nor was The Joker ever portrayed as a serial killer. The tv series never reflected the seriousness of the comics it was based on.

Hell, let's back your argument even more by Clooney's Batman doing a "Got Milk?" ad.

And yeah we've already agreed EVERY movie has its share of plotholes, the Batman anthology included...however niether Burton or Schumacher ever claimed to portray Batman in the "real world" as Nolan tried to do.

I know dude, I agree with what yer saying. It just didn't break the movie for me. I was wondering why the first two films kept such a night-time theme going on, only to see quite the opposite in this. I mean, if they did it twice, when crime seemed to certainly chill out till nightime, they could've gotten away with it in this one. Even though someone would've brought it to everyone's attention that five months after the day the bomb goes off should be daytime or some shit. Peeps overthink movies sometimes, like that dude who pointed out the stars in Titanic.

Thanks for the huggsiez, love you, see ya at home.

I just figured he went to confront Bane as soon as he could. Batman had an advantage over everyone else during the night but not against Bane as seen from their first fight.

quote:
Bane: Theatricality and deception are powerful agents to the uninitiated... but we are initiated, aren't we Bruce? Members of the League of Shadows!
[Lifts Batman by the neck]
Bane: And you betrayed us!
Bruce Wayne: You were excommunicated... by a gang of psychopaths!
[Bane viciously beats Batman and throws him to the ground]
Bane:I AM the League of Shadows, and I'm here to fulfill Ra's al Ghul's destiny!
[Batman uses an EMP device to cut the lights]
Bane: You fight like a younger man, with nothing held back. Admirable but mistaken.
Bane: Oh, you think darkness is your ally. You merely adopted the dark; I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but BLINDING!
[grabs Batman from the shadows and continues to beat him]
Bane: The shadows betray you, they belong to me!
[repeatedly punches Batman in the face, breaking his cowl]
Bane: I will show you where I have made my home while preparing to bring justice. Then I will break you.
[Hits detonator, blowing a hole into the bottom of Wayne Enterprise]
Bane: Your precious armory, gratefully accepted! We will need it.
[Batman desperately stands and swings at Bane]
Bane: Ah, yes... I was wondering what would break first... Your spirit, or your body?

After this exchange Batman knew he didn't have an advantage fighting at night so why wait.

That's how I saw it anyway.

Yeah... That's my point. He used the Bat to fly into Gotham and parks it on top of the building.

Edit: Basically he parks it in the Batcave prior to getting captured. After escaping and getting back into the US, he goes to the Batcave (which does not appear to be on the island) and uses the Bat to fly into Gotham. He then lands it on top of the building and covers it with a tarp.

second you seem to forget that Nolan's Battrilogy is HIS INTERPRETATION of one of the greatest comic book characters of all time and Chris Nolan just like Burton and Schumacher before him interpreted Batman their way.. just like whoever writes and or directs the upcoming reboot will be interpreting Bruce Wayne/Batman his way, so will you whine even more then????

See, that would go a long way in explaining some things.

Like...what if he programmed the Bat BEFORE confronting Bane and THEN he hide a remote access panel/controller for The Bat somewhere outside of Gotham? Then, when he got back, he recalled it, it flew out, then he got on it, flew in, bam...everything falls into place. That no only solves the problem of time when it comes to the fire batman symbol, but it solves the problem of "when the **** did Batman reprogram the Bat"?

However, this is why it is called a plothole: we should not have to invent part of the plot to explain the laundry list of problems this movie presents.

You shouldn't have to invent plot to explain plot: that's the sign of a poorly written plot.

Yes I have already freely admitted that I'm a Nolan/Batman hater.
I disliked TDK &TDKR but honestly thought Begins was a brilliant Batman/Origins movie.

That's the point too. Everyone says, "it's just a movie, don't get so hung up about it..."

No, it's just not a movie, it was a $300 plus million dollar project with big names & their reputations attached to it. Personally if i even had just 1 million invested in this project, I'd be saying, "Hey guys can we fix/address some obvious plot holes?"

not really because each and every director tells things differently

if that were true than the film would have been a major bomb and it obvious isn;t so their reps are just fine and they will continue to work
