If the events from the movie 2012 occured in a comic, with no prior warning of solar activity, who would be the most useful earth based characters to have around?
No pre-event detection or prep time for anyone.
No characters who spend most of their appearances in space.
Heroes or Villains are acceptable.
No time travel to prevent the disaster.
Also, which of the heavy hitters would be virtually f@cking useless?
Scarlet Witch, Dr. Strange or really ANY highly skilled magic user. Hulk at least could access Banner's intellect which might be useful, but Juggernaut would just take up space.
Flash and Zoom. They would need few seconds to save everyone from everywhere and escort them into safety, where ever that would be.
Besides that Scarlet Witch at her peak solos with a snap of her fingers.

I don't know why some of you are going on about being right and winning. Rob and Impediment were in on this gag because I PMed them. Silent and Rao PMed me and figured I changed the post. I highly doubt anybody thought Quan made the post, but simply played along just for the lulz.
Hal, Supes, Lex, Doom, Reed, Thor, Storm, Stark, Magneto, Batman, Flash, Red Tornado, Dr. Fate, Dr. Strange, Geo-Force, Swamp Thing, Iceman and others I haven't thought of. I picked characters who can control elements, magic, have speed, strength, brains, money, leadership, etc.
