It did, but it was also a fighting/harem hybrid. The cast shot for UQ only looks to have 3-4 girls. Plus Yukihime, it's an ok number, but they're still outnumbered by the male cast, while I prefer the other way around.
Not really a big deal, though, as I'm sure they'll have a pretty big role regardless!
Yea, Bart was awesome, although I groaned at Rebecca's part.
Maybe he wants to do an reverse harem this time around.

Can you guys think of many action scenes that take place during the night in the Big Three? It just occurred to me that Bleach is probably the one who does it the most. Strange.
One Piece has a whole arc of Thriller Park set at night on top of Luffy vs Ussop. Then there was Sasuke vs Orochimaru in Part 1 and Naruto vs Mizuki in part 1. But Bleach probably has the most fights during the night time.
EDIT: Never mind, looks like it was just the anime that did that.
Anyway, Itachi slaughtered the Uchiha clan at night. Madara vs. Hashirama at the VotE took place at night.

I really liked the Naruto chapter and almost put it at the top, but ion the end OP delivered on 3 fronts strongly (the arena, Brooke and Law) while I kinda just like the Hashirama flashback in Naruto.
Bleach sucked. "Oh you think that you have beaten me, but it is really I who have beaten you!" Out of the 3 Bleach has the worst action imo. Its always someone seemingly gets the upper hand, then their opponent explains their ability and why it lets them win, a reaction shot of them looking shocked, final page with them being pwned.

One Piece was probably the best as a stand alone chapter but I am so annoyed at not getting to see Law lose that I honestly just felt meh. Which isn't technically this chapters fault. I blame C-Block taking up too much time.
But Cavendish was given more dimensions as a character, DoFlamingo revealed some interesting information, and best of all Brook gets an awesome win via strategy and trickery. Brook gets so few badass moments compared to many of the others.
I would probably put Bleach above Naruto the tides have turned in favor of the villains and their are stakes again. I hope the Shinigami don't need to be saved since it would be awesome to see them overcome their opponents through guts and strategy but I'd also like to see the 0 Division in action.
Naruto felt padded and the flashback awkwardly placed. I get Kishi is paralleling the old Gokage with the current but why not do it when the current Kage are helping? Just devote this chapter to the action(since we haven't seen much in a while) while the next chapter can have the Kage fighting together, giving justification to this flashback.
But that's me trying to make the chapter(s) what I want. The purpose was to expand the history(which it did) and be emotional. But last chapter was way more emotional since it involved deaths we were familiar with. Here we know very little of the First Gokage. I suppose the argument could be made that we should be happy that the nations stand together but we've had better moments for that such as when the current Kage met to face Madara.
Eh, Naruto wasn't bad per se, but the last chapter was soooo much better at being dramatic that it felt as the perfect starting point for action. And then... I gets delayed for no reason. Such a shame.
Aura's right, One Piece was the best, followed by Naruto. I think the problem with Bleach is that the panels are too big? Or its an overuse of reaction shots or something, but it always feels like very little happens in each chapter. Whereas in One Piece there's usually a lot of content in each chapter.
Its Bleach's biggest problem imo, too much style over substance. Bleach focuses too much on looking cool rather than telling an engaging story or having dynamic fights. Also to me it always looks too staged and fakey rather than genuine. IDK, I guess theres just something about the aesthetic that bothers me.

Man, I'm listening to Weekly Manga Recap and they're reviewing Mirai Nikki and I'm just sitting here think "what the **** manga did they watch?"
Storybook romance?? Are these two high? At least now I remember why I stopped listening to these clowns.
Also them complaining about Yuki not turning Yuno in is also dumb. She represents his best chance at survival and is completely loyal to him. Calling the fuzz on her would be suicide.

Well...Yuki really should have turned her into the police after being abducted and held against his will. He can take her freaking phone for himself.
But before then and about right after the whole 7 couple situation yeah he really would need to rely on her. She is after all somewhat capable. But Mirai Nikki has a whole mess of problems. Namely everyone is a horrible person.
I dropped the WMR guys when they said a One Piece chapter that was amazing(the one where it is revealed Doflamingo lied about his resignation) because the fanservice was distracting. That was just stupid.
Yeah, probably. But they were talking about it after he found the bodies. By that point she's already saved his life about twice, so turning her in would be dumb as hell.
Well being in a game where you have to kill people to become god probably brings out the worst in people I guess.
I gave them another chance, but I cannot forgive them for making fun of Yuno. Yuno is amazing and I am going to make them understand that.
