5-6 Initiative to the droids! The last droid standing by you takes a shot at one of the Mantooinian guards for a hit of one. It is joined by another droid.
Even more inconvenient, the droid by the Trade Federation representatives gets its shot off at Senator Dod before you can reach him. He takes 3 damage, cowering behind a chair that chars and sparks when lasers hit it. He yells.
You rush over and chop the droid down, just as another emerges from that doorway.
Vimus and his guards clear the main door of droids.

Apply Bodyguard to Lott Dod and use Coordination, and use Leadership to snap him out of his scared stupor and get him to answer her question.
"How do we shut off the droids without communicating with the main control ship?" Jelena asks, using the Force to emphasize her presence to Lott Dod, pulling her use of the Force in two directions - physical and mental.

1-4, new droids march in to replace their fallen counterparts. The droid by you tries a shot but misses. Vimus promptly shoots it down, while his guards split their fire between the droid marching in by them and the second by you. They only damage them.
You command Lott Dod's attention by your influence with the Force, and he turns his frightened gaze from the broken droids on the floor to the Jedi protecting him.
"You cannot do it remotely!" Lott Dod shouts. "Only the Droid Control Ship has the proper codes and equipment! We're doomed if we can't reach them!"

Jelena certainly takes advantage of her authoritative presence. You call out for help and you get it- the first bodyguard opens fire and only damages the droid, so Senator Vimus himself delivers the kill shot.
"Go, Jedi!" Vimus shouts, while his second bodyguard annihilates the droid near the Senator.
You step past the smoldering pile of droid parts and into the doorway. Beyond, a small squadron of battle droids stands waiting, filing in one at a time. Putting yourself in the doorway, however, means that they do not need to step in one by one to fight you.
"Destroy," says the nearest droid.
"Roger, roger," echo the other dozen plus.
They raise their blasters.
