The Hunger ate entire universes that had alternate dimensional Phoenix Avatars roaming around in them if I am not mistaken. Team 2 takes this I think. The Hunger's defeat was PIS. Think about it, if they did not defeat the Hunger, it would have been the end of the 616 continuity.
