As you descend through the atmosphere, you come now to the settlement below. The planet is a cool climate; not icy but sparse and snow is not uncommon, and the high-radiation sun shines brightly, making everything strained and gleaming. The city beneath you, then, shines strong and white.
It is an odd city- it is clearly not planned. It seems to be a mis-mash of different buildings, different types, different purposes. Half have fallen over; others have been rebuilt many times, others have been built on top of others. Its like a giant junkheap of architecture. it seems to have a broad bottom and works its way up to an equally messy set of architecture at the top, forming a vague conical pyramid shape, except you doubt the bottom you see is the bottom; it is probably built upon other buildings underneath what you can see. A mess.
But an active mess. There's been recent building work here. The shield generator, near the top, is new, and the guns that train on you as you have to lower you shields to pass slowly through the defence screen are new as well. You can see people on walkways and plazas throughout the city, though the most are at the open areas near its bottom, where many of the buildings have been levelled by time to form an open yet urban plain. It is in one of these open areas you are landing.

Interesting place. Xavier would like to make a Jedi Lore check to see if any of buildings or this planet seem familiar to his time with Archives. Perhaps others should as well.
Xavier would also like to try and identify the anti-air guns to see if he can gain any technical knowledge of them. Are they self powered or tied into a central power location, do they require manual operators or are they automatic.
He also wants to try and figure out the make and model of their shield generator and anything special about it besides the fact it has been strengthened to block out radiation.
Also want to note any communications towers that might be available for longer distance communication.

Galder briefly wonders if they would've let them land had they arrived in their armed fighters, but pushes the thought from his mind as a "What if?" He continues the approach, wary of the turbolaser batteries pivoting toward the Wanderer-class space van.
"What IS this place?" Galder asks the more learned of their group. "Any ideas? It's clearly been here awhile, even if this operation hasn't."

"Hm, this place seems perfect for someone who is planning an operation and does not want to be found. Galder, does anything here remind you of Kuylen's approach to things?" He stares at him at the moment.

Galder focuses on his approach since nobody gives him any helpful information. He keeps eyeing the people and ships moving about, trying to get any sense of familiarity, but overall tries to get this bucket of bolts on the ground safely. He keys in the final approach commands, extending the rickety landing gear and feeling out the repulsors before committing to a landing.

You know for sure that this is not a Jedi Lore related place, Gallador.
Your ship sets down in the wide open area, with some of the lower buildings nearby; a mix of ruins, intact relics and newly thrown up pre-fabs. There's not a massive amount of organisation; ships are landed all around in an arbitrary way. You are noticeably a long way from anything important.
There's about a dozen or so people moving in towards the ship. Many of them are armed.

Dozen people moving in? That seems odd. Con will make sure that he can reach his blaster and sabre quickly if need be, and stay a bit in the background, maybe close to something that can be used as cover, since he's not going to talk anyway.

He will try to memorize what Xavier said him about the parts they could sell, but is there any excuse why we are not showing it to them? Maybe we can say that we do not want to have damaged, we have it stored on our ship and only sell them after the deal is made?
