Also not everyone should go for the concussion rifle guy. It doesn't do us any good if we overkill him and leave other people up to fire at us. Con and Relle if you have the Shticks to kill multiple people then you might want to thin out the herd of shooters around us.
Gallador if you want to help me with rifle man that is okay. Someone should also engage the veteran fighter that talked to us. Perhaps Rand or Galder should do that and who ever is left over from that either engage cloak man(I'm fairly certain he is going to be dangerous) or thin out the herd some more.
I'm emphasizing clearing mooks because I'm tired of being shot and destroyed by numerous mooks staying up longer than they should!!!! Also don't forget to tap it if you got it!!!!

Always making it easy on us right Ush!!!! Still I think the original plan works. People with guns and the shticks to use them should thin out the shooters as much as possible. Gallador perhaps it would be better if you broke off and engaged another person instead of concussion person leave him to Xavier! After all Xavier is tailor made to handle single combatants quickly. We need to take down people fast and keep return fire spread out so they aren't concentrating on a handful of people.
And remember tapping is your friend!

Gunslinger, Both Guns Blazing, Eye of the Storm. Azarl, cover me?
Relle goes for her sleek assassin's pistols and immediately begins spraying firepower at one of the other shooters in the veteran's and cloaked man's company, leaving Xavier to deal with the concussion rifle guy.

Galder goes straight after the veteran. He flicks out the knife in his robotic arm and charges in, swinging to slash the man's gun arm before he can draw, or if he draws, before he can shoot again.
Power Attack, Impervious, Dodge & Weave. Tap Impervious for extra armor from all attacks.

I definitely should.
OGu, BG, PS. Apply Bodyguard to Relle.
Azarl snaps his lightsaber on and whisks the blue blade around to deflect any fire coming at him or Relle while she shoots. He uses Bombard to hurl some debris from the old structures at a shooter himself.

Since there aren't any mooks Con will have Eagle Eye, Eye of the Storm and Orthodox Guard (Inactive).
Quick question on the rules, do I have to declare tapping Eye of the Storm before, or can it neutralise an attack after the round?

You can declare it after.
Galder will actually at a Power Attack tap into that, too. So he's tapping Power Attack and Impervious.

Well, a lot of stuff happens in a very short space of time. But I think I can sum up most of it when I tell you that a dozen other lightsabres just got drawn.
This puts a number of you in uncomfortable position. Galder, for example, was never expecting to be on the WRONG end of a melee-weapon vs. sabre fight. The very does indeed draw first- both of his sabres as he can draw instantly; one at full length and one a short sword, which he uses to cut the blade clean off. You were lucky he didn't take the whole arm. He brings the long blade to your throat instead.
Con and Relle, you go for your guns, and are very quickly confronted with how relatively useless they are against a bunch of sabre-armed opponents, if they know what they are doing. It looks like they know what they are doing.
Azarl sends a flurry of rocky debris- but the cloaked man raises his arm and Azarl feels a resistance he's never felt as the rocks come to a halt in mid-air, both of you straining with the Force. He's good, Azarl.
Gallador and Xavier dash forwards. The shooter, no fool., drops his gun and quick draws his own sabre. You both have time to stop before you reach him, and that's a good idea, because four others have stepped in around him, and that's not good duelling odds.
"You bear the weapons of a Jedi," says the veteran. "Probably less of an edge than you thought it was going to be, wasn't it?"
---
"All listen to the command announcement!" blares out the speaker.
A hologram forms, from the sort of commercial holo-emitter they use on Nar Shadda, projecting a figure 100 feet high. He speaks with a refined and determined voice.
"As you are no doubt aware, the rebellion is over and those who are still alive are awaiting my judgement."
He is dressed in military style, an old-fashioned stiff jacket laden with embroidery, half-covered by a pelisse, a military half-cloak worn over the shoulder. A lightsabre dangles from his waist.
"It was a foolish move. I know there are those amongst you who feel we should skulk in sanctuary for all time. That is the way of the coward. The army that stays behind its fortifications is already beaten. This is not why I called you here."
His hair is styled in the elegant locks and curls of a Charnellian officer- though insignia on his cloak marks him out as more than just a person of rank, but a person of great title. A title that brings the right to rule worlds.
"I called you to survive, and to survive we must complete the vision I laid out for you. For too long we have been hunted. We were expected to be rooted out and destroyed, every one of us. This is a desperate move, because it relied on us not having the will to survive and thrive at all costs- but that is the true secret of our power. Our time will come soon. Our enemies will suffer. First, the Bureau. Then the Jedi. And then, to feel the full extent of our destructive fury, Lanzar.
"That is our destiny now."
The hologram flickers out. Larios Kuylen has spoken.

And so it is that Episode VI finally stumbles to a close. Which means we get to open an Episode VII parallel with the new films! Unexpected...
As you can see, you are in a very dangerous position. As it turns out, along with what other threats you may have expected to find here, there is an army of force users, and even you guys have to pause in the face of that threat.
Towering above them- definitely metaphoricially, maybe in other ways- is Larious Kuylen, our long lost main villain. Ha she been spending his time creating one of the most dangerous armies that could possibly be envisaged? He has the ego for it. Kuylen's original ambitions may have been frustrated but he remains unbeaten in combat; at the head of an organised army, who knows what he might achieve?
But very little is as it seems here. There is much mystery and madness to uncover. To get to the heart of it, you are going to have to survive the perils of this place. You are going to have to find a way to fit in amongst th most dangerous force you have ever met, and then from within find the way to pass through the three gates of the White Fortress that lead to the command centre, and the answers you seek.
And it;s even moire complicated than that- because, currently over the other side of the city to you, the Jedi have landed here too in the exact same position. They claim to be in the pursuit of Lady Adelmo and some ancient Scrolls that are apparently of some importance. You've suspected Adelmo's involvement from the start but found nothing to support it- maybe they know more? But they know nothing of interstellar assassins and certainly were not expecting Kuylen's presence. It seems there is even more going on here than you could have imagined.
For the first time in many years, then, we proceed with a unified episode for all players- still in your own threads, but playing two sides of the same story.
Episode VII- The White Fortress

Rand will probably have hung back and let his minions attack. Either way, the sudden change of events is entirely dismaying.
(On to the next episode!)

Xavier will go pat his long time friend Galder on the back. Hey you can look at it as he replaced you with an army or you can look at it as it took an army to replace!!
And yes I can not wait till the next episode now. Also XP time!

I'm wondering if perhaps the attempt on our lives might've been a test to see if we'd come after him. It seems like Kuylen's gathering Dark Siders to wage war against the Bureau and the Republic. Intriguing!
Unless this is all a ruse somehow.
I'm thinking Iron Will and Total Focus will be handy in the next episode.

Sorry there, folks- meant to do this yesterday but my timing got all knackered by a friend dropping in.
-
So! Sections for this story:
1. Raid at Epireus. For no logical reason, the combat-that-never-happened gains you xp; that's the Force for you.
It's worth 1 xp for being there at all and then 2xp for each of the two fights you made a contribution towards- that's pretty easy for you to work out but I may have to make a judgement call if we have players returning later
Sadly, no xp bonus for preparing/fighting well in the second fight
-
2. Casino Hijinks
From getting inside getting to the top!
1 xp for being in this section at all; another xp if you were reasonably active at both beginning and end.
1xp for each of the following (max score of 4)
- Seriously playing a game
- Making noticeable money from a game (directly or indirectly)
- Helping enter the casino with weapons
- Distracting guards
- Dealing with security
-
3. The big runaway fight!
Oh my, what a mess. 1 xp for turning up, then only 1 more for the casino.orbital fight, I think, as that actually threatened to derail the plot beyond that which I had accounted for (vanishing players stop this from being a 0xp kicking)
But 3xp all around for being shot at by the Jedi- there honestly was not much you could do about that except make it dramatic, which you did.
Count it up and no cheating!

So this my breakdown for Xavier right now:
1) 5 xp. 1 for being there and 2 xp for being in both fights.
2) I'm not sure Xavier gets any xp in this section. He was there when we were first staking the Casino out but didn't participate in the actual big Casino fight. So would Xavier get any xp at all for this part Ush?
3) I think would also be 5 for Xavier. 1 for showing up, 1 for the orbital fight, and then 3 for the jedi attack.
So that nets Xavier 10 xp total. Maybe more if Ush says I should get any for the second part.
