yeah, magik makes it tough. if it's the goblin queen though things could be different. maddie was going head-to-head with phoenix in that arc. i'd need to go back and look again at the level of control she had. the goblin force was pretty uber though. sersi's team takes it but the goblin queen could be enough to tip the scales.
Wait one minute. Are you telling me that the Goblin Force made an appearance in 616 reality? And that it was empowering Madelyne Prior?! This is news to me, what issues are we talking about.
Last time I checked it was a tiny portion of the PF that was empowering Madelyne Prior in 616 reality and then Jean took it back into herself toward the end of the Inferno Event and then later still Jean fired it off at Arishem blowing off his hand.
Man this is huge (to me at least).

sorry zop, my bad. told it was a long time ago. i was thinking of mutant x and mistakenly mixed it up with inferno. not the first time i've made that mistake.
anyway, my point stands--if it's the goblin queen she could solo (depending on the level of gf we ascribe to her). if it;s inferno maddie i'd still take team 2.

you haven't read it yet? i'd recommend it. i didn't love all of it, but i really liked most of it and there was some great artwork imo. certainly worth reading--especially if you've read the other parts already.
team 1 should take it. Every single one is an insane powerhouse plus you have the soul sword.
However, i agree with the other posters, the goblin force might swing it in team's two favor. Is the goblin force more powerful then the phoenix force? Maddie might solo...but didn't the goblin force happen in an alternate universe?

Hela strikes me as a wildcard. Which is to say, I can't really peg her power level.
Her aside, everybody else gets shit stomped on Team 2, unless Maddie is packing some PF, in which case this match is still stupid but for entirely different reasons.
If Mungi were around he would probably ask which form Witchfire was in, and then point out that it probably doesn't matter because Talisman or Snowbird could still potentially solo.
