I hate Star Wars now

These links show how far lucus has gone and distroyed star wars forever theses links give a idea (some you all ready know) of the changes frame by frame

STAR WARS

EMPIRE STRIKES BACK:

http://picasaweb.google.com/doubleo...ditionChangesHD

JEDI

http://picasaweb.google.com/doubleo...ditionChangesHD

From the opening credits to the end of the film some shots have been reframed for all three films and new ones inserted .

I dont want to see star wars again (97) i just want to see the 77-83 prints but he wants us to forget about these prints forever .

Then I guess you should find something else to be passionate about.

Or are you one of those fans who hates Star Wars and the changes but will continue to talk about and buy related items?

Special edition wasn't as bad. Changes in the Bluray edition, destroyed it

Even the SE messes with the pacing some, though.

Oh Come on! I can understand why people complain about some of the changes like making Greedo shoot first, adding Hayden Christianson to ROTJ & adding a NOOOOOO into ROTJ, but I think a lot of the other changes did improve the film. The newer versions have much beter quality & couloring. It looks really good & crisb now, & all these added speciel effects., How do they ruin it? I don't even mind the added CGI characters. George was limmited with what he could do bck in the late 70's early 80's, so now he can do more, he might as well improve the films. I think the new emperor scene works so much better tha the original emperor! I'm glad that change was made! And what is the big deal with ewocks blinking? It makes them more realistic! You only hate a lot of these changes, because there not what you saw in star wars in the first place. But they make the originals more consistant with the prequels.

Ewoks blinking in ROTJ was ok. Changing the most important/emotional scenes is what ruins it

What bugs me more is GL changing or editing some things and not others that are more obvious! Like the hand puppet of the Wampa the first time we see it. Or some of the colors of the lightsabers in all 3, especially luke on the falcon. And on bespin

I denanitly agree swith you on the lightsabers! I really don't understand why they haven't been improved! That's possibly more important than any of the other changes, but yet that's the one which never gets fixed any of the speciel editons.

...Honestly? For the first movie, I don't really mind any of those changes.

ANH is the least of most peoples favorite. So yeah, why would the changes in ANH be so bad?

Yes, really. I don't mind very many aspects of the reframing/recompositing done on the movies.

What I am very much less likely to like would be actual changes of substance: The Emperor's scream used in the 1997 ESB; the blinking ewoks in the Blu-Ray ROTJ; the stupid added rock (which disappears in the next shot) in the Blu-Ray ANH...etc.

Yeah who cares about the changes? if you dont like them you can always go back and watch the original versions. Yeah I loved the changes MADE IN THE SPECIAL EDITIONS especially in Empire when you get to see more of the city seeing them pass through cloud city when they are being escorted.Plus it was hysterical in new hope watching Ford walk over Jabbas tail. laughing Hearing what they did with them in blu ray though I think I will skip those.
