It made no sense. The armors in the previous films were pretty durable for the most part. All of the ones in this film were breaking upon impact. Very annoying.
I also second the mention that [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Iron Patriot went down far too easily. They could have had fight scene with him against two or three of those Extremis henchmen but instead.......
Not sure why I'm hearing alot online about the music. Was nothing special. The score for the first Iron Man was pretty awesome. All the villains are pretty sub-par in this series. Only one that I was feeling was Obadiah Stane.
Truth be told though this film does remind me of TDKR in a lot of ways. IMO this was a better TDKR in terms how they go about the plot and how they handle it.
"The Daemon lied with every breath. It could not help itself but to deceive and dismay, to riddle and ruin. The more we conversed, the closer I drew to one singularly ineluctable fact: I would gain no wisdom here."
I never said it was better than TDKR. I just said they did similar things and that IM3 did a much better job putting the plot together around those ideas.
Bane is still one of my favorite movie villain performances.
You're right. I forgot to take Bane's shitty voice into consideration.
Yah, TDK: R was the best comedy of 2012.

just got back.. I loved it.. good story/ action...
the part about[SPOILER - highlight to read]: The Mandarin being a paid actor I had no problem with.. In the beginning I thought I would but as I watched the film, it made sense..
now the ball is in Marvel's court but there is no doubt in my mind that RDJ will return
the after credit scene [SPOILER - highlight to read]: is Tony talking to Bruce Banner , really though the after credits isn't anything but it was cool to see
Also from that Bruce said on page 18 about them using the real Mandarin
it is a possibility if, That group that captures Tony in Iron Man 1 they had the exact same logo so yeah why can't the real Mandarin make an appearance.
Because that would be a third guy calling himself Mandarin now. It seems obvious they closed off the doors from ever using the real one on the big screen.
Besides if they ever wanted to, this was the movie to do it in, the third and possibly final act.
Did anyone happen to see it in IMAX 3D? If so, was it just me or was the picture quality absolutely horrible? It was so grainy and washed out, felt like I was watching an action movie from the 80s...
