The only thing that is saving Thanos is his durability and TP. He will be a beach ball this entire fight...getting abused and thrown everywhere. His only resort is TP. His blasts are pointless and his physical stats means nothing here. Goku would see all of Thanos attempts in slow motion. Hell, Roshi would see all of Thanos attempts in slow motion.

Anyway, Thanos is slower than Goku, but he will tank everything Goku has with a smile on his face, and has the power output to kill the young Saiyajin. Telepathy is a big bonus.
