That amp was all but gone at the time of the blast and we know it was a chain reaction as stated in the narrative it doesnt take away from the feat.

The fact it was a chain reaction means it wasn't one huge megablast as people try to portray it.

Prime does good against this team until he runs into the Hulk.

Battle Field Removing (BFRing) is more likely to help the Avengers team than Prime, if, as the Original Poster of this thread suggested, everyone is fighting in character.

People forget that Thor, with Mjolnir, has the ability to remove people to other dimensions. With Prime, Thor would have no reason to be concerned with whether or not Prime could handle the trip, not when he sees the kind of damage soak and output Prime possesses.

I also wasn't paying attention to what DieslDude was really telling me. Sunlight on the fingertips enables Prime to overpower heralds?
In other words, Prime can either be easily tricked into fighting in places where sunlight is absent and/or does not have sense or wherewithall to GET to a sunny place and shift things to his advantage?

Really?

Next stop: Umar's Dark Dimension.

If you want to make sure he stays a little while, send in Hulk after him, who now has no reason to hold back, due to their being no innocents left to harm by truly cutting loose.

Then again, with all the tech Tony Stark has, all the floating satellites, and standard forum rules dictating that these groups have at least general knowledge of one another, it won't take long for Tony to figure out a means to flood the area with red solar radiation or block out the yellow sun rays empowering Lunatic Boy. Keeping SBP busy won't be a problem with good ol' Odinson and the Jolly Green Giant, there, either.

What's out of character about this? Everything I'm saying I've seen in the comics.

As has Prime BFRing the planet, punching through dimensions, and attack the comic book writers.....I even posted the scans.

I too have seen these events happening in comics. Have you seen Prime pushing a planet before? Yup. Have you seen him breaking through dimensions? Admittedly, I did not post the scan of him punching through dimensions, here, allow me:

1) Prime BFRing a planet wasn't during the middle of a fight and wasn't to end a fight.

2) I don't recall you showing Prime punching through dimensions. All the Avengers need do to prevent that, however, is ensure he's sent to someplace without yellow sunlight, which is not really all that hard to do.
Oh, and take that stupid suit off of him if they haven't already.

But that's precisely what Hulks are for.

3) If Prime is encountering the Avengers, that implies we're in the Marvel Universe, not the DC Universe.
Hulk's gone 4th Wall, too, to say little of his cousin, She-Hulk.
There's no way Greg Pak caves the way Earth Prime Didio does.

Hmm.

Didn't know you were still editing when I sent my last post.

Disregard the part about you not showing the dimension-breaking, then, which you admitted to just now in your revision.

1)So....you're saying he can only use tactics that he uses in fights? Sure. When has the Hulk broken the 4th wall in a fight? We of course have to use the same standards, to be fair, no?

2) Alas, I edited my post to show him punching it before you added your post, apologies!

Incidentally, the Phantom Zone has no yellow sunlight. He still punched through it, as you can see in the scans posted.

3) You may need to re-read the forum rules. Would you like me to post them? In it, the rules state its neutral, and that the combatants fight as they would, regardless of battle locale. I have emboldened the relevant part, because I believe it shows that it does not matter whether its in the Marvel or DC universe.

At any rate, time to deal with Iceman's objections to Rulk.

You'll have to inform me if there's something more recent than this.
That Thor comment, is from Hulk #26, for instance.

The issue before that, Bruce Banner and Ross (Rulk) have the following conversation:

Unfortunately, I don't have Hulk #26 scans on this laptop save those of the Thor encounter and Rulk taking out a comet.

For now I'll have to refer you to page 45 of the Incredible Hulk Respect Thread to read the comments of the posters there.
