Didn't you pay attention to the mid credits scene

The collector comments: with the Tesseract already in Asgard, having two Infinity Stones so close together would be dangerous. As they leave, the Collector remarks, "One down, five to go."

More action. A hell of a lot of genuine funny stuff. Less time spent on Portman and friends. A lot. And I mean a HELL of a lot of Asgard and the 9 words.

Very solid. Hope it gets near to or evens with Iron man 3 because it is a lot better.

Loki stole the show as usual.

edit LoL and I just saw this on my FB

That's not exactly clear on whether the Tesseract is an Infinity Stone. The stone on Loki's scepter, however, is another matter and could be the Mind Gem.

[SPOILER - highlight to read]: The Tesseract and the Aether are both Infinity Stones. Confirmed in the Mid credit scene. The Gem in Loki's stone hasn't been confirmed yet.

The only way I can really express my sentiments for this movie, is to say that it was a complete ****ing mess from beginning to end, from an editing perspective, writing perspective, pacing perspective. A total mess. The movie had flashes of genius in it though. Pretty much everything Loki was involved in was fantastic, though he's nuking the fridge as a character at this point. There were other great scenes too, and great characters. But most of them fizzled out into just wasted potential.

At the very least the film was entertaining, which puts it over Man of Steel, but... it could have been a whole lot better.

Blax is mad again. Granted I haven't seen the movie so I might actually share your criticism.

Expectations too high i guess

its not like they were trying to make the movie earn an academy award for best picture.

I agree. TBH I wasn't expecting much. The first 1 was fun, but far from perfect. Then Iron Man 3's mehness added to it. So I am glad it surprised me.

Still can anyone tell me What the ****

[SPOILER - highlight to read]: happened to Odin?

I was expecting just a good movie and i got exactly that, Plus to top things off i didn't even watch the countless clips that got released on the internet all i watched was the first trailer.

That's the best way. Who wants the movie spoiled before watching it? I saw the first 2 trailers (teaser, and proper one) but then avoided any other scenes.

Not seeing the "Anyone else" scene before hand would have made the beginning of the movie more entertaining!

Jeez man you should be a film critic.

I thought the end battle was frigging awesome. Getting knocked around through buildings, while avoiding those teleportation holes, while constantly losing Mjolnir in the process.

And the subway scene was priceless. How many end battles give you an awesome fight, and still get to break away for humor like that?

I am something far worse than a film critic.

I am a writer.

I agree, the film was a mess. A funny mess, but a mess nonetheless.

And it broke the intensity of the battle.

Awesome? How? They were keep teleporting, Malekeith couldn't pose enough threat compare to Kurse. The Dark Elves failed to catch Padme, an old man and two fools. It's like the Ewoks brought down AT-ST.

I'm torn. On one hand I liked the whole teleportation insanity thing with mjolnir and stuff, but on the other I think it would not have hurt to make it more serious. I really dunno, but we're getting close to the point where the humor will start messing with the films.

Tzeentch is right though. This movie could've been so much better. But I still enjoyed it more than Iron Man 3 or MOS. They should've edited it better though.

Also Sif and the Warriors 3 were way under used.
