Quick question. How does armor block killing curse? I can understand the hammer or the sheild blocking it, but atmor has something living in it. Thats like saying Lily shouldn't have died because it hit her t-shirt, which isn't alive.
Soild objects like tombstones have blocked the AK and Thor's armor is several hundred times tougher than a tombstone.
Besides, Thor has high magical resistance, as seen when he tanked magical blasts from Odin's spear.

Giants have resistance to magic.... because they are magical beings. Not because they are tough. And as none of that was referenced in the movies giants might as well be fodder to HP characters magic.

Not in harry potters case. They actually define it as magic. And he has an exposed face does he not. The AK curse hots the whole body as shown by when sirius black died. Whether his armor tanks it or not derp, his face gets hit. The argument here is if he himself, his physical body can take magical damage well. And even if odins spear wouldnt kill him thats just pure destructive force. Te AK is diferent from that.
The Sirius scene didn't shown the Ak hitting his whole body.
The spear is pure magical force.

It comes our fo her wand in a huge burst of what looks like green snakes. Almost energy waves. Its the size of a human and sirius' whole body turns green. We dont get a wide shot of it traveling. Its called editing. If his whle body lights up from a spell the size of his body, im sorry derp it hit his whole body. You lose yet again derp.
