Biggest Box-Office Star of All Time?
Who is the king of box-office?
Purely Box Office.
Talent/Personal life doesn't count.
I would go with Tom Cruise.
1.Since Top Gun,he hasn't had a single flop as a
lead actor.
Only Magnolia,Rock of Ages and Lion of Lambs were box office duds.Tom Cruise wasn't the lead actor in any of the movies
2.Twenty one of Tom Cruise movies have opened at number 1 at the box office
3.Taking Inflation and US Box office into account:
John Wayne has 27 movies that have crossed 100 million(out of some 70 odd movies)
Tom Cruise has 23 movies that have crossed 100 million
This doesn't include Valkyire,Eyes Wide Shut and Knight and Day which were superhits because of international box office collections.
