The abilities I cited are all on screen. You pretending they won't work isn't proof. How does it since the pilots are in the battlefield ? You also said ops can decide what words mean. Back up this claim.
Considering the last 11 pages of the OP posts, it's clear that word nuking was in reference to nuclear bombs and not bombing the entire city.

Read the OP. The premise is that the wizards lay siege to LA and the military is called in. Did you think the US military is sitting in Los Angeles normally? LoL.
They come into LA and set up camp. You can't have the military at a place the wizards can't even get to them at. This might be the most laugh out loud attempt ever because you know the wizards win. The writing is on the wall. Wizards win. Muggles lose.
The OP clearly states that the military is being called in, that means they will be arriving already in their planes.

The issue which you're crying about : The planes which provide the airstrikes take off from airbases far away, outside of Los Angeles, so no, the wizards aren't "mind controlling the pilots before the get inside the planes" as you claimed.
Think, then type. Don't just diarrhea all over your keyboard.
They can't airstrike from any place outside the battle. You wanting them safe outside the wizards harm shows how biased you are. Second greatest victory ever.
