Well they'll understand when they see the film next year. It's a time travel film so it's going to change some things in the current (already messed up and inconsistent) timeline.
Cyclops probably will be alive after this film. I just hope they use him in a way that does him justice for once.
I feel like I can already taste Singer's "feelsing" it up at the cost of action, just going off the trailer.
Meh.

Am I the only one that feels they should've just done a direct sequel to First Class and completely disregard the other X-Men films? Fassbender and McAvoy were really something special. I was genuinely excited at the end when Erik became Magneto, donning the cape, and forming the Brotherhood. Awesome.
Then, I hear Picard and Gandald are in the this. Now, Wolverine is. Singer isn't necessarily a bad director but he has me looking at him like WTF when it comes to this shit.
Oh, you're not the only one. That's what I was thinking they might've done initially but instead they took a step back by having Singer in charge again, who after X2/X3 has overstayed his welcome.
the way i would have done it was have first class be the first chapter of the rebooted series or new triology ending it with X-Tinction Agenda being the last of the new trilogy or E is for Extinction depending if i did a fourth
