Don't worry, if Mos is a massive success and it leads to a series of other DC movie chars and A JL flick, he'll be bandwagonning over and be Superman's #1 fan to the point it will make Jimmy Olsen jelly
Loyalty isn't always a positive. When I'm loyal, it's to companies and people that don't abuse that loyalty.
superman is the most well known superhero in the world, and is acres ahead of pretty much everyone bar maybe batman. hell, even if you wanted to say a marvel guy was catching up, it wouldn't be spidey. it'd be hulk or cap. superman is so ingrained in popular culture that it will take years for other heroes to make it to that level.
yes, sales figures support my stance. DC, especially in comics, is either neck and neck or superior most months. with the drop in quality in marvel and the increase in quality at dc, that's not really surprising imo.
I like a hero that's well written and has depth. you not seeing it doesn't mean it's not there. please, talk more about his glasses. that always helps.
he wishes he was Darkseid, maybe.
At least you admit you hate. That's the first step.
Sorry, looking a lot better than anything Marvel has come out with...

Superman is the most well-known super hero, but I don't think he's really the most well-liked.
For example, people love Iron Man now for a couple reasons. The movies are great, and they feature Robert Downey Jr (he has a much bigger draw than Henry Cavill).
Marvel's big names such as Iron Man and Spider-man, are probably far more well-loved by the casual superhero fans.
Most people that I have talked to about superheroes list a Marvel character as their favorite (Spidey is the most common answer for me). Some even go out of their way to talk about how they dislike Superman.
Spider-man is still probably the most popular super hero among casual fans, just look at how well TASM did, especially considering that there were a good number of people who intentionally didn't see it because they loved the Raimi series so much.
I don't think he's the most popular at all. Batman would probably be more popular. I'm just saying that if you stopped ten random people in the street, the one hero they're likely to know the most about is Superman.
RDJ was always a great actor, and I'm really glad that Iron Man has helped cement him as a top earner.
Most people who dislike Superman, I've found, have reasons that aren't really relevant to the character anymore. They're free to like whoever they like, obviously.
In comic circles, yes, Superman isn't far and away the most popular character, though even casual comic fans have more knowledge than most people, so they're more likely to have varied views. Hell, even my favourite character is a Marvel one.
