superman is the most well known superhero in the world, and is acres ahead of pretty much everyone bar maybe batman. hell, even if you wanted to say a marvel guy was catching up, it wouldn't be spidey. it'd be hulk or cap. superman is so ingrained in popular culture that it will take years for other heroes to make it to that level.

yes, sales figures support my stance. DC, especially in comics, is either neck and neck or superior most months. with the drop in quality in marvel and the increase in quality at dc, that's not really surprising imo.

I like a hero that's well written and has depth. you not seeing it doesn't mean it's not there. please, talk more about his glasses. that always helps.

he wishes he was Darkseid, maybe.

At least you admit you hate. That's the first step.
Loyalty is always a plus. Loyalty doesn't mean blind fanboyism it just means you're loyalmor favor one company. It doesn't mean you love everything the company does.

No, it's Spider-Man IMO. Marvel characters are breaking ground sure but dc screws itself by just relying on two and not really focusing on anyone else.

Still riding reboot and like I said movies is where the cash is because you have to strike at the casuals not the hardcores to make the real money.

He doesn't have much depth at all. He's a lame guy who basically always does the right thing aka wouldn't even bang WW despite not even remembering Lois. Guy is a lame.

Thanos has lapped Darkseid ten times over. In dc he's a guy who's begged someone to stop punching him in the face and been ass raped by Doomsday. Dc doesn't treat it's villains well.

I don't deny what my opinion is so when I say I hate I do. Conversely when I say I don't I don't.

No, Spider man is.

I said it stunk right after I saw it. Making money has nothing to do with it or else I'd love Fast and Furious and Transformers which are all shit to me.

Early review of Man of Steel... It's sounding awesome.

I am not ignoring anything. Superman is going downhill and marvel is soaring. Just face it.

No need to get so defensive over your ben affleck obsession.

Spider-Man is just as well known and more so.

He's trying to troll, as only an impossible idiot would say "Superman is going downhill", when there's a Superman film coming out soon that's getting nothing except positives thus far.

Listen to the dc fans and the general public. They are disgusted with Superman. You know it and I know it.

He still has his fans but his popularity isn't what it used to be. Imo the biggest social outcasts mainly cheer for Superman.

Pretty much.

DC is pushing Superman now more than ever. His stock is rising in pretty much every way. He's being treated better in the comics than he has been in a while. His merchandising is crazy. AND he has a movie coming out.

He's in no way declining, no matter what anyone says.

All that other stuff happening is because he has a movie coming out, not in addition to it.

What I mean is, it isn't a happy coincidence.

DC has been pushing him hard since the reboot. They were pushing him more now because of the movie, but that doesn't negate what they were doing before.

The movie was being made before the reboot happened.
