PG-13 Horror Movies That Don't Suck
I've come to the conclusion that PG-13 horror movies are pretty weaksauce with the exception of INSIDIOUS (2010). I didn't expect that one to scare the heck outta me in the theater. It was genuinely suspenseful and frightening, more so than many R-rated ones.
I think I enjoyed the film because it was able to convey true terror without resorting to cliches and egregious gore and violence. Atmosphere was everything in that film.
I'm curious to know if there are any other PG-13 horror gems out there. Does anyone have any suggestions?
