Well I guess I'm done playing Star Wars games for a while.
The last couple of Star Wars games have blown anyways. TBH, I have more faith in EA than I did with Lucas Arts. Plus since EA know owns Bioware...

Knights of the Old Republic III now with co-op and online matchmaking and you can't enter the campaign for it requires internet. Pre-order now and you get an exclusive Zillo Beast Armor set only at Gamestop and downloadable side missions will be available on Xbox Live and PSN for $4.99 each at day one. EA: We do it because we care.
You had me at KotOR3.

Star Wars plans to be detailed at E3 - EA exec
"EA has promised a "great reveal at E3" and will release 11 major games in the 2014 fiscal year."

If it's battlefront 3 that'd crazy. that game alone would be enough for more than a few people to get any one of the new next gen consoles.

If they actually announce eleven games and not one of them is BF3, that's be insane, imo. Even accounting for mobile/kinect games.

That would be insane but then there's this:
"The publisher (Dice) said during a financial call today that new titles from BioWare and DICE will come out of its "full reveal" at E3, along with Frostbite 3."
http://www.computerandvideogames.co...ames-in-fy2014/
And I hear Dice is making Battlefront 3, so we'll see.

Dice would be the most logical choice too, given their history with Battlefield.

I'm so glad. At least now I know Star Wars games will be in good hands.

Huh, Disney is actually happy with EA so far, to little surprise.

Even as one who likes the current Battlefront 2, have to say a lot of the earlier posts in this thread (showing faith in EA) didn't age too well.

There was an interesting opinion piece regarding EA and Star Wars on Polygon.
Basically, there is a question to ask about the validity of having the Star Wars license as a company.
1. Very expensive.
2. Disney consults of every decision regarding property.
3. Disney takes a cut for themselves on every sale.
And companies these days want their own IP's instead of getting something like Star Wars.
