Snapped the magically embued chains that hold up the massive slate obelisk the mirror projects onto as his first act upon receiving the ToP and became exponentially stronger later.

Link is similarly strong, Gandalf is not. Gandalf cannot hurt him.

What's stopping him from getting another surge? Is it adrenaline, aggression, orphysical stress? Each of those would pop up in a fight.
