Totally called Ahsoka being Fullcrum. Looking forward to Vader cleaning up shop on everybody in season 2. I'm calling for a bloodbath. The Rebels have gotten off too easy. People need to die . . . PRONTO. I say Ahsoka. Not to mention that we need to see Vader being a badass. His performance in TFU1 and TFU2 have badly tainted his image.
Am irritated they killed of the Inquisitor. He had so much potential as a villain. If not for his incessant monologuing, Kanan and Ezra would have never won. He was ragdolling them both easily.
Also, is something going on between Kanan and Hera? She called him "dear" and it looked like they were about to smooch.

I thought Hera and Kanan had clear sexual/relationship vibes going throughout the season. If they aren't together, they want to be. I think the dear thing may have been a bit of playful flirting or a joke though.
And Kanan getting better wasn't weird. The whole time he was worrying about if he was good enough for Ezra and if he could keep him safe. When the Inquisitor "killed" him, like he said he lost the only thing holding him back. All of his fears lied in failing Ezra, disappointing him, etc... He thought he was dead so all he could do was give him justice. And the Force worked through him for that goal.
Ya know, I keep watching Rebels expecting it to become better, but it just keeps pissing me off.
Also who really was surprised about the reveal of Fullcrum?...
Season 2 better pick up, because I'm getting so ****ing sick of the Empire being made into a joke.
Literally it seems the writers have 0 idea on what the Galactic Empire is and are going off of those asinine false myths about them that the general public spews out.
Ya know...the funny thing is, I just keep watching...also way for them to kill off an interesting character, that was completely stupid.

Very good episode. The Fulcrum reveal rubbed me the wrong way, but otherwise it was excellent. And amazing lightsaber duel, some great space action, and of course Vader! This is Star Wars done right. Just pure good fun. And heck, even the reveal was ok. Ahsoka's design at least is cool.
As for the Inquisitor dying I'm fine with that. He was a great villain but ultimately served his purpose and was defeated. There really isn't much left to do with his character other than to become a joke who is routinely defeated similar to what happened to Ventress and Grievous. Plus his death was chilling showing how truly terrible a master Vader is, "far more frightening then death" indeed.
Rebels has been great so far, a vast improvement on TCW. Can't wait for season 2. I'm expecting it will be ESB to season 1's ANH. Basically, with Vader around s*** is going to hit the fan.

I don't buy it. He gets absolutely pwned throughout the entire season and casually ragdolled, and then all of a sudden he can just kick the Inquisitor's ass? Now, I understand that he (I guess) had some sort of mental block and by Ezra getting KO'd let him get passed it, but in my opinion I don't think it should've made him all of a sudden kick the ass of someone who was show as the clear superior in every way. *shrugs* Whatever, though.
It happens all the time in the movies and the books. Once the person overcomes something holding them back, they wreck their opponent. Obi-Wan lost Qui-Gon, got determined and cut Maul in half. The guy who was dominating him and Qui-Gon the entire fight. Anakin got thrashed by Dooku...twice. As soon as he gave into his anger he ended the fight in under 10 seconds. Etc... Once the Force uses you and you stop using it, for light or dark, you are generally an uber beast for at least the remainder of your fight. And while he drove him back, it was the destruction of Inquisitor's saber that really sealed his fate.
But as dominant as Maul was through the entirety of the fight, and after easily killing a man far superior to Obi-Wan at the time. Even though he was toying with Obi-Wan, there's no way he should have lost that fight.
Right, but Maul didn't really lose the fight because...well the fight was pretty much over. He was just taken aback by Obi-Wan, who surprised him. Either way, yeah Maul shouldn't have really lost anyway.
Yeah. But back to my point, as Kanan himself pointed out, he was scared of the Inquisitor for a number of reasons. Ezra's life being one of them. He basically says the Force is using him and how powerful it is right before he chops his saber into pieces.
Assuming the Inquisitor died, I feel like his death was done poorly. There was very little emotional impact from that scene.
I enjoyed season 1, but I'm afraid that it is starting to move too quickly. The show went from a ragtag group trying to change things on one planet to two of the highest ranking officials in the Empire (Tarkin and Vader) personally taking matters into their own hands. I would have liked to see the lower levels of bureaucracy fleshed out more.
I think we'll eventually see a showdown between Kenobi and Vader in the later seasons. I don't think we'll see the Emperor in action though unless Yoda decides to leave Dagabah temporarily.
I disagree on that point. The Inquisitor didn't even fear Grand Moff Tarkin, the third most powerful man in the Empire. It seemed like he was just below people like him and Vader since he was a Force User trained specifically to kill Jedi.
He failed in his duties several times and seemed to be more apologizing out of responsibility than genuine fear of Tarkin. However once he lost to Kanan, and realized just how badly he failed this time. He knew it wouldn't be Tarkin who punished him. It would be Vader.
And he was so f*cking scared to face him that he chose to die rather than face the consequences. That says a lot, especially since the Inquisitor seemed pompous, smug, and arrogant the entire season. The only time you ever saw fear in his eyes was when Kanan surprised him with his assault, and when he threw his life away so he wouldn't have to face Vader.

Why? What purpose does he still serve? He was defeated. Its best that they killed him before he became a joke and in killing him they built up Vader. It was a win win.
