I honestly don't have a problem with the design but to continue your analogy the PS4 is the sister who doesn't charge as much if you want to stick something in her.
And then you can share the entire thing with your friends.

Yeah. I've gotten the chance to play games like Sleeping Dogs, Just Cause 2, KOF13 all for 'free' due to my PS+ membership.
Heck, they are offering Uncharted 3 for no charge this week.
Is it because you think these people are engaging in the usual behavioural tendency to blow shit way out of proportion, or is this all genuinely funny to you?

but I've always been a console guy, so I'm glad I can still get in one more gen while still easing into the inevitable all digital future (PS+ been helping a lot with those incredible-for-console sales and discounts)
I just want confirmation on HDD size and if it is still as easily swappable as it was on PS3

Am a little late to the party because of other matters, but yeah. Great news and stuff regarding Sony. Had a good feeling they would throw a good curve ball like this, and still funny and ironic how MS is making the same mistake with the One as Sony did during the beginning of the PS3 as far as the pricing, while now Sony has learned from that...
Even before E3, I figured the PS4 would become my more top priority console for the next gen, though like I said I wouldn't mind getting the other two systems as well if there's a price drop and I have enough reason, besides Killer Instinct I guess. Even with Sony becoming the best right now I'm still not gonna be some anti-fanboy towards their competitors' systems because well.. console wars are for kids.
Oh okay then. While the jokes have been hysterical, and I've been laughing a lot throughout the whole thing, some people may be going overboard here.
That sucks. Apparently it's in the same league as Bioshock Infinite.

I'm not a console head but I've never seen so much extreme hate for a new console. I mean this is bordering on just blind, cult-like insanity. It's so extreme that it seems too much. As if something else is wrong. Which makes me think that sony fanboys are either really, really butthurt and bitter the ms beat them the last generation overall and wanna make sure they win this time by any means necessary, whether it be by smearing the living effin' shite outta xbox one every waking second they get, for the rest of their lives or just because it's trendy to do so.
They both look good to me. But sony fanboys act , almost threatened. There's just this high level anger on a Hitler scale. It's sad kinda. as I watch it all from above in ether in the PC realm.
