Faora's HTH skills > Thor and Hulk. Not to mention her super speed was in full display. These kryptonians have been genetically altered and bred for combat.
Lol, based on what? Her beating up a farmboy?
Yeah, that was some shitty genetic engineering. Those apparent perfect soldiers were getting beaten up by a nerd. I couldn't help but lol at Jor-El being so badass.

I agree Thor was holding back against Iron Man. He will probably hold back against Superman.
I don't know man. I find it crazy because Superman was crashing through mountains, buildings, falling from space while fighting Zod and took a beam that was terraforming Earth and destroying Metropolis while he was getting weak by the continued exposure to the atmosphere.
No more crazy than Surfer, Thor, or Hulks feats.

The actual fight. I have the camrip and she shows more finese than both of them.
This farmboy has 20+ years of experience with his powers over her.

Didn't Reed say it'd burn the Earth's Atmosphere and wipe out life or some shit? Pretty crazy firepower there.

Not really. And it's out already? I'm gonna go rewatch some of these fights.
Yeah, and Thor was suddenly depowered and turned into a frail weak mortal. He proceeded to beat up highly trained SHIELD agents like fodder as a weak human. Excuse me if I'm not impressed she can take on a guy who's never even been in a fight his entire life before Zod came to Earth.
And like I said, Jor-El was kicking ass so their genetic origins mean shit.

Probably in the onset but not for very long I don't think.
I don't remember him crashing through mountains and I honestly missed the entire Metropolis sequence, I went to take a piss. Sorry, but after a certain amount of time, nonstop action with such shitty pacing gets boring. Still a fun movie, I'm going to go watch it again on Tuesday.

Wasn't Faora's helmet only partially breached btw? Not comparable to the Zod scene.

Yes I am. It is quite possible the reason Surfer was able to cause such a dynamic was because of cosmic nature of the FF's powers.
LoL@Superman's durability not being much higher than Doom's.
And it isn't possible that isn't the case?
Considering Doom tanked a supernova that could have set fire to the atmosphere and destroyed all life on Earth had it not been shielded...

He crashed through a mountain when he was learning to fly after he got his suit and Jor-El encouraged him to keep pushing his limits.
Sad that you missed the metropolis sequence. This explains everything. You haven't seen Zod go all out with full use of his powers. Zod's heat vision made a building collapse.quote: (post ) Originally posted by Branlor Swift

I didn't state it as fact. I was merely speculating after all, just like you.
I will give Doom that feat.

That wasn't through a mountain was it?
It's fine, I'll re-watch it and bring some friends, hope this movie does well. But from the trailer I saw Zod took out support beams and structures on a floor no?

Yeah Johnny reached 4000 Kelvin and kept getting hotter before they had to stop him.
He didn't hold back against Doom though
And Surfer was able to walk through Sue's shields and I believe even turned it off.

Yeah, Doom is crazy durable.
He did casually pass through it. Surfer shouldn't be in this thread, he's on a completely different level than the Avengers or Man of Steel. Much closer to the comic counterpart, hence the stupid contrived board dependency.
It should be noted that taking out Galactus didn't even kill Surfer, we see him survive.

Surfer went intangible through the shield yeah.
I don't remember the rest of that particular scene. Wasn't she bleeding through the nose or some shit like that. The cokehead.
Surfer is in the bonus round. So you can just argue the first fight if it makes you feel better.

Yeah, pretty much everyone in the F4 movie was pretty high. Ben not as much though for some reason.
Shit, I forgot all about that

Ben was weak as hell in FF1. Don't remember enough about him during the 2nd one. I always wondered why they made him so weak.

Except frisbying magic chest emblems and a costume that transforms, cape and all, out of thin air.
