Pretty sure it was just weirdly worded. Our match has been pretty drawn out. But he's saying we can end it soon.
As far as judges are concerned, it doesn't matter when we get to 5 posts each. Though I wish there was a bit more buzz around the match itself. The tourney's had some fits and starts, but there have been some clever strategies and exciting matches in it.
We've seen those two enough times. Besides, do you really want either one widening their lead on you in tourney wins? If we could get the numbers - and we probably can't - a tourney that didn't allow previous tourney winners might be fun.
I also want to ask various people for thoughts on the match so far, but I don't know who Bentley's picking as judges, so I can't. Leo's MIA or I'd kibbitz with him. Charlotte's been lurking with me in PMs, at least. A sounding board is always useful.
Does Leo have a lead?? If we took unfinished tournaments into account and adjusted them to give the person with the most wins and crown, I'm pretty sure I'd be in one of the top two slots.
We just had a ruling (finally) on that Smurph match I had where I was declared winner. We should just count that as the title match.
Would be interesting, but not enough people would participate. We do need fresh blood though.

Technically, both Scoob and leo ALSO have an uncredited tourney win...Delph's giant round robin. They were named the winners but the finals never happened. I didn't count it. So it's 4, 3, 2 atm, respectively, for Scoob, Leo, and you.
I've been thinking about tweaking some things about the tourney thread anyway, though. "Tourneys entered" isn't necessarily "tourneys completed" so some peoples' records look a lot worse. A distinction between those two might help.
We can probably kick it off soon. Looks like Digi and ID are about to get a wiggle on.
As you know more members etc and who's appropriate. Work out who you want us to PM write ups to and decide / appoint judges. You can also choose the battlefield and battle conditions, scenario etc (I'm easy/cool with whatever), just let me know what they are before we start.
MIA for a while now. Curry's absence was the original cause of the extended delay in the tourney. Sounded like he had some legit RL stuff keeping him away, so no one was really upset, but none of that changes our situation.
I briefly took over some duties in finding judges for matches, but Bentley volunteered to take over, and has been doing the behind-the-scenes stuff for the last couple matches.
I also want to say how much I enjoy tourneys for a variety of reasons. This one has dragged on, sure. But it introduced me to the excellent X-Force (prepping for a match with Leo that never happened), and also the excellent Irredeemable (for Id). Counter-prepping for opponents is one of the most enjoyable aspects of this, because I'm often introduced to well-written material that I wasn't formerly familiar with.
Other tourneys have born similar fruits. I'm always pleased.
