As already shown, Ganondorf isn't immune to his own power, and the Mirror of Twilight clearly transformed him. That means he later gained resistance, so he's immune by virtue of that.



Except he's not dead, he's a spirit while possessing her, and Marnie has already been controlled before. Ganondorf will do it again and use her power (plus his own necromancy) to get some new minions. He soloes True Blood so hard it's hilarious.



He's immune to Marnie's magic via the Triforce, he possesses her, and he portals to the Twilight Realm and back on his own. BFR doesn't work on him anymore, or did you forget he got better?
