Dredd came in number 5 in the list of top "50 Flop Movies that Deserved Better" at TotalFilm.com. Just behind Blade Runner, Night of the Hunter, Shawshank Redemption, and Hugo. Damn.

...perfect example of how monetary success is not a good indication of quality. That movie is now hailed by many as one of the greatest films of all time.

I would like to see them do a Re-release of the movie first. See if that can garner any big intreast, but sadly I feel that if they ever do make a sequel it will be many years away.. urban will be playing Old Dredd by then.
