Tip of the ice berg my friend. Lot more to bring.
At least now you won't be completely overwhelmed.
no disrespect intended. But really no one is likely to consider the types of things this Amalgam can turn into. Everyone else will get to see the first battle and at least have time to formulate some answers. It's not fair on my first opponent to go in completely.
In other sites in tourney set ups ( usually done on PM not open forum between players who have joined) I often leak powers and feats to allow adversaries to prepare because i use more obscure characters or versions of.
I'll be here. I'm currently on a total of 6 tournaments across various sites. I have only dropped out of three in the past 5 years. one because when I pulled some old issues for scans realized i'd picked one member of my team that was WAYYYYY over the tourney's limits for speed, destructive power and durability ( he could have soloed most teams). Another because everyone cried foul that one of my characters was over the limits because they didn't read teh rules properly and it didn't DQ misdirection and unlike myself no one had a planned counter for Fantomax. The third because some idiot playing was just spamming me 50 pm's a day after I took his characters apart in 5 posts.
I'm only jealous that you get to fight the tourney equivalent of Deadpool's inner monologue. This is bizarre by any tourney's standards. I'd love a shot at him. But with his dodo-bird mentality of divulging tactics and writeups, I can't imagine him lasting long enough to meet me in the bracket.
Certainly made the match more interesting, though. I think everyone will be tuned in now. I can't even remember what the other match is this week.
Crazy my friend is the best kind of tactics. Completely unpredictable, impossible to counter. History is full of victories against superior opponents (either in numbers or weapons) using crazy tactics. The greatest tacticians win because they do what no one else will.
In one action during my service my unit was charged with taking a fortified point held by a force 8 times our size. I deliberately allowed my men to be seen to be moving into position and committed 3/4 of my unit to that assault. Meanwhile the other 1/4 prepared a scorched earth pincer movement. Basically I had them sneak ahead of our launch position set charges and then take to ground and hide. While this was happened we dug trenches at the launch point. most of the 3/4 made a frontal assault which was met with most of their force ( outnumbers about 10 to 1) so we made the tactical retreat I'd always planned. As we approached our trenches with about a 10% loss the snipers within started kulling the enemy chasing us down as those taken to ground side the same from behind coinciding with charges going off beneath the feet of the enemy. Over half their numbers were taken down in 10 minutes with them surrounded and taking fire from all sides with us now fortified.
Showing ones hand is far from a loosing tactic done right
