Funny...I was thinking of Iron Giant vs Kaiju and IG vs Jaeger threads but realized IG wouldn't win against either. Too small, too slow.
He loses against the Avengers.

Iron Giant has the firepower with his big chest gun, but that required build-up (ie, it telegraphs a launch). Even if Hulk and Thor don't connect the dots, I would think Cap or Iron Man would. Certainly Cap would say, hey guys, let's not huddle.
Then again, if the Iron Giant repeats his last movie word, that alone will put fear in the Avengers' hearts.
