Minor deities caused the flood.
When Ganondorf touched it the triforce warped the entire sacred realm into a dark mirror of the physical world, which began to radiate so much evil power the entire thing had to be sealed off or the real world would be overrun. This wasn't even something Ganondorf did on purpose, it was a side effect.

If that's it then that's not enough at all. You can't use speculation as fact or feats of power. Going off of what has been shown and proven we can't say that it's enough to contend with Superman. I don't even see how it would make him fast enough to react to him or give him the necessary power/durability to contend with Superman. All it's done is rewrite a world/realm and drop an island on someone.
Superman still has ice breath, heat vision, super breath, strength, speed, reflexes, and so on.
ALttP, SS, and LoZ/AoL all get all three pieces in their games. We know it has the power to bring people back from the grave qnd to keep them ftom dying. We also know that one link his still a competent fighter despite being dead.

aLttP & SS both have Link attaining the entire thing. Thanks to his heart being in balance he can wield the entire thing.

Also, I don't recall arguing that Link wins. I keep prodding you to read the thread. Without the Triforce Superman will win. With it though what actually happens is impossible to say for certain.
What we do know is that with the entire thing Link is capable of planetary+ reality warping, and cannot be killed by physical means.

This is where things get speculative. With it the complete loss of his body "shouldn't" even phase him. But that's based on what the ToP can do for Ganondorf.
It stands to reason, given that the completed triforce is greater than the sum of its parts, that what a single piece can do the triforce can as well. If so, the complete annihilation of Link's body wouldn't be an inconvenience without some way to take away the triforce's power. But this is the realm of speculation. We have a good idea, but we're not 100% certain. It's more of a 75% kinda deal.

I'll try to be gentle about breaking this to you. I think you're the largest Zelda fanatic on this entire board. You make more Zelda threads and spend more time focusing on the series than anyone else here.
