Gorr needed extra power from the slave Gods on his planet just to deal with 616 Thor (high herald), teen Thor (low mid herald), and a recovering King Thor (who knows where this guy was but he wasn't at full power and was weakened).
SBP isn't a divinity so whatever tricks Gorr uses vs Gods shouldn't work against him.

You need to re-examine the logic in this post, it's extremely flawed.
Gorr fighting and beating 3 Thor's is like saying Prime's a weakling just because Kal-L and Superman were taking him on. Ridiculous. Also, modern Thor in that story was ridiculously powerful. Young Thor was also beastly.
Once Gorr got the power, he beat them straight up and consumed that Star on his own so why does it matter except as further evidence that the Necro-Blade has the ability to access far more power?
What tricks would those be? Stabbing? Hitting? I didn't know that this only worked against Gods.
The difference between Gorr and Prime is that Prime had multiple impressive on panel fights vs varied opponents.
He displayed excellent magic resistance (if not outright immunity) and he was beating teams of herald level beings.
Gorr was struggling with a high herald, a low/mid herald and a weakened and recovering King Thor to the point where he needed to cull the slave Gods on his planet to pump him with more power.
In a neutral environment, where is he gonna get a planet full of slave Gods to amp him when Prime starts pushing his sh|t in?

iirc he actually admits that he's been pretty much on the down and out since asgard fell. Don't remember if it was the will that failed him or the body. Think I loaned out that arc to a friend but I'll see if I cant dig up some scans in the meantime.
first of all Prime wins.
second of all wtf? king thor got beat by gorr??? where? dude wtf is up with king thor being defeated so freakin much cant the writers give him a break or something wtf
What does magical resistance have to do with this fight?
I don't understand why you keep saying that as if it's a poor showing. Prime would have his hands full with King Thor and has had trouble with much less in the past. *cough* Superboy *cough*
Why would he need to? A power-up is a power-up. Why are you acting like it disappeared or something?

a) You stated the fight takes place "in a neutral setting". Where is Gorr gonna get a planet full of slave Gods to amp off of?
b) Magical resistance has everything to do with this fight seeing as how Gorr is rockin' a sword of an Elder God and it's magical no?
c) It's not a poor showing by Gorr. It's just not the end all be all. Beating a high herald, a low/mid Herald, and a weakened and recovering King Thor is impressive but no more impressive then Prime taking on teams of herald level beings with varied powers and abilities and winning. And Gorr had to have his planet full of slave Gods to amp off of. He won't have it here since the battle takes place in a neutral setting.
d) Bringing up low showings by Prime is meaningless, since we are supposed to use the character's "average". I guess I could say Odin is a laughingstock because he was beaten by Space Ants once.

The amp didn't disappear at the end of the issue. He still beat the three Thor's on his own, what don't you understand? He asked for more power and he got it. That extra power became part of his weapon. It wasn't some temporary boost or he wouldn't have beaten the three Thor's.
The Sword's origin is not known except it was created by Gods. It was left vague for a reason. But no, it was never said to be magical in origin. All we know is that the sword is much more powerful then Prime and can consume God blood to increase it's users might.
Where did it say that King Thor was weakened? He had only just regained the Odin Force but that's still more then sufficient power to easily give Prime a fight. And yes, taking on King Thor is more impressive then taking on a bunch of Heralds.
The point being Rage, that HE HAD TO AMP OFF A PLANET FULL OF SLAVE GODS. There is no planet full of said Gods in a NEUTRAL SETTING.
A sword created by the Gods not magical in nature? I guess it was made by Divine Scientists. Quick question Rage, is Mjolnir a magic hammer?
Prime laughed off an attack by a being that had absorbed ALL the magic of an entire UNIVERSE. He also laughed off an attack by Mordru. Why would anything King Thor did (weakened or not) affect him more than that?
It better not, because then Gorr is truly phucked.

Are you being purposefully retarded? What don't you understand? Gorr received a power up. He doesn't need a planet full of Slave Gods to operate at that level. Every time he spills blood, he gets more powerful.
I don't know if it's magical in nature or not, but neither do you. You can make an estimated guess but stop pretending it's confirmed or clear cut. You're acting as if Gods can't be technologically advance instead of mystically driven. Mjolnir is a magic hammer, but because it's been made clear.
Prime was hit by a single attack from Mordru and Kinetix specifically wanted to get information out of him while she thought he was as vulnerable to magic as Superman. That doesn't mean that he was hit anywhere near their full power. Just because someone shrugs off a slap from Superman, it doesn't mean they can withstand a full on punch. Stop phrasing it like he had the total magic of a Universe thrown at him in a blast, it's f*cking retarded. And some parallel Universe at that.
And the last time King Thor faced a being with an immunity, empowered by a force beyond Prime btw, he decapitated him.
