The last episode of season three teased the [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Crusaders story arc, and I'm wondering how this will play out with certain characters who were in the comics but are now dead/absent on the show.

Good question. I’ve learned from Walking Dead, mixing and matching, and adding new material is to be expected w. shows like these. They probably have sonething cooked up if they go w. it.
