I got a minigun from a story mission and found a fatman in a raider station. It was located in a smaller city area the he upper part of the base had a raider with power armor.
Took him out with the gatling gun without much difficulty and got the nuke launcher.
Think im gonna go with the perception perks the nightvision and sniper stuff is what fits my style.
So how are you guys liking the game? I've not gotten it yet. How does it compare to previous Bethesda games? A common complaint I hear is that it's essentially more of the same. Does the game innovate in any new ways? Do you guys think it's as good as Skyrim/Fallout 3, worse, better?
So far from what i've played from the game it's been slight improvements and drastic removements. The leveling system seems too mainstreamed as well as the bonus'. All of that doesn't matter much because there is a lot of new gameplay that is added into the game. The biggest thing that seems to be a problem in my 8 hours of plqying is the dialogue features. I'm still hardpresed on how to rate this one because i've only played for about twenty hours but so far i give this one an 8 where i gave the last on a solid 9 with a possible 10.

Honestly, the dudes voice being added kind of ruined certain role playing aspects for me. That and his entire past/personality/status as a mid-class family being set in stone took away from creating every aspect of him myself.
Yeah, but modding will fix that when it comes to consoles. I'm sure people will remove the voicing and add better dialogue options, so theres that to look forward to. For now, I'll just play it the way its meant to be played.
Also, funny story time:
I was randomly exploring a city I came across with Dogmeat when I entered a random open compound for shits n giggles. As soon as I entered, I saw bags of human meat scattered everywhere and hanging from the ceiling. Obviously a huge red flag, so I start sneaking around with dogmeat close behind. I start making my way through the building until I spot my first super mutant in the game, and decide to attack him. The first thing he does is sound an alarm, and 4 other super mutants show up for the gangbang of the century. I die, whatever. Lesson learned. The second time, I make some noise and bait him away from the alarm. He gets far enough, and I proceed to go all out until he ragdolls across the room. **** yeah, victory, right? Nope, the alarm starts randomly going off again. I turn around to see wtf is going on and see Dogmeat standing next to the console. Super mutants show up, and have a second round on my ass.
TL: DR, I will never take Dogmeat anywhere with me again.

Im with you. Dogmeat can be a pain in the ass he gets downed pretty often just wastin steampacks on getting him back up.
I just use him as a weapon carrier.
I died a couple of times. I'm just lacking high VATS accuracy and a sniper rifle. I really really need a sniper rifle...and tons of ammo for it.
Anyway, I love this game. It some ways, it is much better than Vegas. I still like the skill and leveling system better in Vegas. But, overall, I think most of the RPG elements are better in this game. I like the dialogue options. Keeps it simple. And it is very obvious how to pass dialogue checks (such as science, intimidation, etc.). One of the problems before was you couldn't tell how to get dialogue options to come up to pass checks. Now, it seems much more obvious. I am not the type to go online and spoil the game plot. I like to play it through on my own. Then maybe do another play through. I love this game.
9 out of 10.
Building settlements is frustrating/difficult. I don't like that aspect of this game, yet.
Thanks for the tip!
Codsworth is like 100 times more useful.
I found building annoying as well.
Just realized that for supressor upgrade you need gun nut lvl2 so I went down the intelligence route a bit.
After that im gonna go for ninja for the extra sneak damage.
Got a laser musket somewhere its not bad for snipiging with a scope the reloading is kinda meh though.
Cleared out a ghoul nest it had a lvl 22 ghoul I was only lvl 10 .Thank god I had not used my critical still took me a couple of tries to kill them since the legendary one kept reviving the others.
Game is sweet having a hard time puting it down...
You guys found any good weapon dealer?
I keep getting ammo from the old chick at the dinner.
Ran out of minigun ammo cant find any also runnin low on laser.
What are some cool guns you got?
I have a short assault rifle,an upgraded double barrel that does 108 damage, minigun, fatman, laser pistol, laser musket, armor piercing sub machine gun.
