just to answer Dejio's questions
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: Nightcrawler couldn't teleport because jean was preventing him from getting her. I believe he said:"She's not letting me" when Wolverine told him to get her. For the part where jean goes out of the plane, i have no idea why she did that. I'm guessing that she needed to visualize how bigthe jet was so she can block off the amount of water rushing to the jet.(the water countinued to flow around the jet)

I loved X2, I think it filled in for the lack of action in 1(.5), but I loved both of them, and can't wait for X3, and I never saw the X-Men show and I love the movies! eek!

Full of Darkness andanger, they were, and sometimes you didnt want to know the end because how could the end be happy. How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad happened... but in the end its only a passing thing. The Shadow even darkness will pass. A new day WILL come. And when the sun shines it will shine out clearer. Those are the stories that stay with you and meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why. But, I think, Mr. Frodo, i do understand... iknow now. Folk in those stories have a lot of chances to turn back, but they didnt. They kept going because they were holding on to something!
FRODO: What are we holding onto, Sam?
Sam: That theres some good in this world, Mr Frodo and its worth fighting for.

That's sorta the IDEA, but whatever... Yeah, Nightcrawler OWNED the movie. Totally owned it. But I hate how they're making Cyclops all lame, cuz he was always my fave in the comix.

But to resolve this once and for all:
Jean went out of the jet and into the flood so she could die and Phoenix could be reincarnated into her. THAT IS THE NATURE OF PHOENIXES. death and rebirth, death and rebirth...

Does nobody think that Stryker's death was quite... terrible and unrealistic ?
After all, [SPOILER - highlight to read]: he was just stabbed by Wolverine, chained up, nearly killed by Pr.X's psychic attack, chained up again, then killed by the flow of water...

Just to let you Dejio, if you have ever read any of night crawler series you would know it isn't that easy to teleport unless he can see where he's going and even then it's hard to do it with more thanone person though that would explain how then got into the White House though at the end of the movie.

Yeah, this movie was great. I totally agree with whoever said that Cyclops is getting ripped off. He has been basically meaningless in both movies. I am not a huge Cyclops fan, but he deserves better than that. Had a much darker feel than the first one. Loved the scene where Magneto pulled the Iron out of the guards blood. They would have never tried that in the first one. There was a lot of little kids with their families in the theaters probably expecting something like the first one, but this one was definitely not for little kids. The next one should be great.
I can't remember from the comics, but does the Phoenix tie in with Apocolypse in any way?

I don't believe it does but it does tie into Ark Angel. And supposedly they are going to have Ark Angel in the the next movie.

lol. My brother keeps on making fun of cyclops as being a dork in the movie. I dont blame him. Cyclops should be muscular not like a little nerd like in the movie.

You know they should rename the X-men series to X-man because almost everything revolves around Wolverine why don't they rename it around Wolverine or the Logan series you know.

Godshinto- Nice- I didn't hear that about Ark Angel being in the next one. That's good news. Ark Angel is awesome. Hopefully we will see a lot more from Colossus too. I though for sure he was going to help Wolverine mess up the soldiers that were taking over the school, but then Wolverine said to help the children instead and I felt so ripped off!!
Does anyone no of any other new characters that are going to be in the next movie?
