I hated The Matrix! I tried liking it but it was impossible. It's not that I dont get it, actually I dont even think its as complicated as people are making it out to be, it just didnt do anything for me. Keanu Reeves will always be Ted "Theodore" Logan to me so I cant take him seriously, the action was pretty cool but nothing special. The movie doesnt deserve the attention its getting/got, there are far too many spoofs or copy cats, I hated Laurence Fishburne with a passion in this flick- he was annoying as fu*kn hell!! To me this movie was made especially for computer nerds cuz now they can say "Eee eee The Matrix is cool" without feeling embarassed. The computer nerds finally have a COOL movie! But whatever, The Matrix sucks in my opinion. cool

I'm looking forward to seeing it, I've seen the long adverts they've been playing at the cinema lately and its looked good.

Does Neo do a lot more stunts this time Minxy? KR had problems with his neck during filming of the first, which prevented him doing too much action stuff.

I can't wait. I saw the trailer with X2.

In one part, a ton of Agent Smiths dog-pile on Neo football style and Neo causes an explosion, sending them all skyward. Looks great.

luckily I live here in this smallo town; easy to get premiere seats just by showing up on the screening night...because I will be seeing it even though I'm no big fan of the first.

Yeah the whole film is pretty awesome, but it's my mates dodgey copy so some bits were a bit crappy but the fight scene with neo, a pole and loads o agent smiths was cool he knocked em all down by holding onto the pole and like running on the air surrounding the pole ~ it was awesome.

I have only just seen the trailers for this today. Plus it's everywhere in the scifi magazines at Books-A-Million.

Well apparently Keanu Reeves has got knee problems this time around. Oh yeah and there's a review in the 'Unreel' mag which you can get in warner village's in the uk. Odeon are booking tickets now but the certificate is a 12a so that has got to be a mistake.

how's it goin everyone? i just got back from seeing the movie. IT WAS GREAT! the special effects were incredible. sure, there were a few parts where they looked very bad, but for the most part, it was awesome. unfortunetely (or perhaps fortunetely?), this is not a movie you can see once.

The action/kung fu/car chase scenes were just spectacular. i thought all of the agent smiths were gonna look fake, but they did a really good job with the smiths, a not so good job with neo in certain parts of that scene though.

What captivated me just as much, if not more, were the philosophical aspects of this movie. it gets much much deeper into philosophy than the previous one. They took so many ideas from so many philosophers/writers and incorporated them very well into the movie. (David Hume, Dostaevsky, a little of Kierkegaard as well, including many more) This is the reason you can't just go see it once. I saw it tonight, but I didn't comprehend so much of the dialogue when they started getting philosophical. The philosophy more than anything else is why i'm gonna go see it again.

It ends in a horrible cliff hanger though, good thing about it is, we only have to wait until november to have the story finish off, as opposed to a few years.

I give The Matrix Reloaded 9 thumbs up!

Oh Christ, I hope it's not too much into the philosophy, my brother will rip the hell out of it...

Reviews I saw were good.

_"To label the film as a 'bad' movie would be too harsh. It's not a bad movie. 'Earth-Shattering disappointment of monumental proportions' more accurately fits the bill."
-- Alex Sandell,

okay, it's got some good and some bad. about 50/50 I'd say. no one thinks it's better than the original though
