yai didn't clap but i thought it was amazing, great, wonderful, and better than the first by a long shot but the scene where he does that thing to trinity was cheesy at first then i thought about it and it was cool. just my opinion.

Well i just saw Realoaded and i loved it, and the first Matrix ive sen like 100+ times not because its brialliant but because its entertaing as hell but i admit that i first saw the first Matrix like a year after it cameout because it didnt got my attention but after that i watched it every now and then in Reloaded while i didnt fully got the philosophical part the actions scenes were great, Neo -vs- 100+Agent Smiths was off-the hook and again i went to see it because i knew it was gonna be entetaining and it was and im looking forwar to Revolutions, also dont take it too seriously, in the end its just a movie!

well my opinion
the movie is good, not as good as number one, but that is mainly because the style and concept were very good in the first movie, second one can't really bring us that surprise. they do however give the characters a bit more depth by showing a lot of out matrix stuff, gives it a bit more of a real feeling,HOWEVER sometimes I was thinking I am not watching Star Trek here !! The movie also has more humor than number one which is a good thing.
The special effects were very good in my opinion. The only real downer on that side is that there are TOO MANY bloody slow motion shots, I mean yea it's fun but don't over do it.
The fighting was very good, a lot very little gun fight, it was pictured very cool, sweet moves and stuff, the only real problem was it was a bit too long from time to time.
The car chase, it was awesome no other way to describe it
certainly the part were [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Trin rides the bike against traffic
The philosophical aspect was pretty big in this movie as well, it was cool but sometimes a bit too much at once.
The new characters some are hilarious, The fake frenchman is super
I'd give it a 9/10
certainly gonna see it again and certainly gonna buy it on VHS

cause it usualy costs more, and I dont care about the extra's anywayz
and cause the entire family will want to see it regularly and we do not have a DVD player, I have one in my comp and my bro has one on his PS2 but neither of those are in the living room
so I'll take VHS

well depends what you need it for
if you actualy need to work on it
VHS is 200 times better than DVD imo
and I think the sound is a bigger difference than the image

i think it is. actually, copying any type of video is illegal. used to be only distributing them was i do believe. not that it really stops me. but i do go out and buy movies i really support. star wars. matrix, lotr....etc..
anyways to get back on topic, i thought the matrix reloaded was just plain great. yeah. it didn't have the surprise and suspense the first one had, but also guys, remember, this is only half of the 6 hour movie. you might argue that it's a third, but the first movie could and did stand well on it's own. this one would be stupid if it weren't for revolutions. it's half of a 6 hour movie, give or take an hour or so.
and i've said this before, and i'll say it again, the philosophical aspect made the movie so much better than it would have been without it. you gotta give credit to the brothers for making a really awesome action film that makes you think.

vhs is a last resort these days. dvd's are better, especially for a movie like the matrix that rely's heavily on special effects to wow the audience.
